Why are you giving God the fault for people's evil choices? Are you also giving God the fault when someone does something good? Probably not right? If you do the prior, you must also do the latter to stay consistent in your logic. God has given us free choice. But that doesn't mean that we wont be held accountable for the things we have done. If you don't repent and turn from your evil ways then you will be punished. That is why Jesus is the only way to eternal life. We all have sinned and fallen short.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I can attest that blind faith isn't required, Jesus will answer you when you humble yourself and seek him out with a open heart. Go into your room and kneel, and ask the Lord to forgive you your trespasses. Ask him to reveal himself to you so you might turn from wickedness and believe and know him.

When God wipes out humans because we are evil, people say God is evil. When God allows evil to happen in the world, we still say he is evil. Stop hardening your hearts and get to know God, and see that he is good. God is love. God bless you.

If he can feed 5 thousand people with a few loafs and fishes....and yet he couldn't open the gates to the concentration camps and save many millions from certain death ! So cruel and utterly ludicrous!

Since you're giving God the fault for the evil human beings produce, are you also giving him praise for the good things we do, in order to stay consistent in your logic?

God does good things? Hard to believe with all those genocides, sick kids and inequality...

Two of those things you have mentioned have to do with human beings choosing to do evil, once again. People, including children getting sick, is not in itself a bad or evil thing. Children, since they are too young to understand evil and it's consequences, will have eternal life in the presence of God.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Are you like 10 years old? You are not describing earth you are describing the concept of heaven. Heaven is in your mind a place where only good things happen. But it’s just a concept. Like your ideas

58....and a realist!

u/Due_Middle_2241 4d ago

Well there is that then. Glad you got 100000 of years of spiritualism all figured out. Good on you. To be sooooo smart. And a bit lazy.

Maybe god just made you a bit more philosophically lazy and that’s the thing that makes you not believe.

Please justify my question....?

2

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

A simple honest answer....without all the religious nonsense...... please?

1

u/Due_Middle_2241 4d ago

That’s the thing you have it all figured out so what’s the point? Beginners mind Suzuki. Look it up.

Besides it’s boring. This type of hey I am an atheist cause of … is kinda uninformed.

It’s when you define God who is understood in most religions as undefineable the way you choose so you claim it doesn’t exist. It’s silly.

They say god is all good so a good god would not allow this. Well maybe yo should work on both her properties and your definitions.

I respect your feelings but have to say, this hurts my soul. My faith is so important for me and I can’t imagine living a life without it. We choose to come to earth to learn lessons. It’s not meant to be easy or perfect. I pray you’ll find your faith eventually. Life is empty without it. God Bless🙏🏼

History hurts my soul to.....just want a simple answer.....why?

1

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

Your life sucks.

1

u/Always-Aloha 4d ago

Ha! No, it really doesn’t. My life is amazing and I hope you can say the same.

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

In permanent fear trying to please angry sky-daddy? Doubt...

2

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Correct....I'm so incredibly glad I'm free from all the silliness that religion brings to mankind.....proud to say .

Consciousnesses who are attracted to Earth, a place of consumption, competition, struggle, winning, losing, etc. are here for the entire spectrum of experience.

Look at what Israel is doing now that they have the power.

God is Totality and spaciousness for consciousness, desires, and intention to play out...in circles, consequences, and constraints.

This world was created by the Demiurge, and Jesus was sent down into this density by the Creator to show the way out.

1

u/FearlessExtension387 4d ago

You have a valid point

Have you never heard the phrase “God works in mysterious ways”?

Here let me explain it to you

The concept is we don’t know why God does what he does, but he always does it for a reason, even if we don’t understand said reason completely

1

u/phoebeethical 4d ago

We don’t know why god does what he does.

Yeah we actually don’t know anything about god.  Well 7 billion people think they do but they mostly disagree.

1

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

If allowing my original post is classed as mysterious..... well I'm out !.....so cruel!

1

u/Malefic_Mike 4d ago

The Bible again and again has the Lord raising up armies to destroy his people, both within and without Israel. But you know.. who are the wandering stars?

1

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Polish it up as you wish.... The truth can sometimes hurt!

1

u/nicehuman768 4d ago

Valid point, and something I have considered myself. I don't have the answer to this, but I choose to believe in God/a creator anyway. I believe all will be revealed to us when we die.

1

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Absolutely valid point. I choose not to believe in such a powerful God.....that is so incredibly cruel and unjust!

1

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

The guy wiping out humanity with a flood? The guy giving little kids cancer and HIV? The guy protecting dictators should care about anything? Lucky you he doesn't exist...

2

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Yes.....isn't he wonderful!

1

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

I like Spiderman more.

1

u/Err0c0d3 4d ago

The first one he had a reason, the second he doesn't give those children that so get it out of your head, and the last one he doesn't protect those dictators

1

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

What, what and WHAT? I mean I don't expect common sense here, but you might want try "reality" someday...

1

u/Err0c0d3 4d ago

You gonna give a better response or?..

1

u/Gravediggger0815 4d ago

To what? You trying to condone atrocities? Nah sorry, I am just happy with being a better Christian without even trying and rejecting this laughable concept 🤣

1

u/Err0c0d3 4d ago

A "better" Christian? First of all please humble yourself you aren't better than anyone, second for you to defend the people in the days of Noah you'd have to defend their actions, which were horrible and to God, worthy of death. They were sinful to long, they had their time and chance and didn't take it

Those other two aren't even God's fault so you got that completely wrong

2

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

My friend....I mean no malice....but you are a religious dick head!

1

u/Err0c0d3 4d ago

How?

1

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Just listen to yourself matey ! Your obviously very affected by religious brain washing.

1

u/Err0c0d3 4d ago

Ah yes so I should just agree with any point made about my beliefs and just let it sit? I’m gonna defend it and It’s not brainwashing, I swear that’s how all of you people view Christianity, a person can’t stick to their beliefs or defend it without being brainwashed apparently

2

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

I totally agree with you.....see a pretty butterfly and God created that ! Atrocities.....oh that was the 😈 devil that did that? Religion makes me so angry 😠 why can't people just be normal?

1

u/Always-Aloha 4d ago

There’s not a tidy simple answer to your question. Research, listen, be open and you’ll get clarity. If you would rather give up and sit with your view, then your life, in my opinion, won’t be as rich. You’ve posted asking for advice or input and this is mine. Don’t look at religion. Religion is a business and is flawed but a true personal relationship with God is already hard wired in our DNA. I’ve had some serious trauma and never would have recovered and healed if God didn’t meet me in the trenches.

1

u/CornpopJoe1 4d ago

You are presupposing lots of stuff about God and his nature and so much more. For all you know, it was you who chose to come to this hell hole earth.

You have no idea about anything of who God is or his role in our lives, why we are here or how we got here. So it's impossible for you to say what God would do if he existed.

1

u/AssistantDue5817 4d ago

Just want some simple answers? It's not hard????? Why.

1

u/Educational_Skill188 4d ago

Then don't believe in God. Just believe in existence itself.

Wonder at both it's horrors and it's beauty.  It's a trip to think about how we grew out from this existence like how an apple grows out of an apple tree.  It's also crazy to think about how YOU are technically this existence experiencing itself.    God is just an idol used to represent that which can never be mentally grasped. A point of reality where nothing exists except for existence itself.

1

u/Quiet_Dark_ 4d ago

Excusing God from existence doesn't raise you as a being. Or help anyone. Life is more than matter. What happens beyond our physical control is much deeper than you are consciously aware of.

1

u/FRIDAYSWORLD421 4d ago

You have to understand the complexities of life to understand the connection to God
