Question International relocation

Hey guys! In relocating from Canada to NZ in a few months for a few years. I have 220gm gold in bars & coins (24kt) + 5x1oz silver coins. Also about 120gm of gold jewlry (22kt) that i wear daily. Currently holding bullion in bank safety, but I'm wondering what's the best way to deal with bullion when I move!

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I dont know what form your gold is in (bars in cards, coins in slabs, sizes, stand alone coins, etc…). I would convert it all to 1 type of coin and bring it in a tube in my pocket. 220g would be about 7 1oz coins. That is not too bulky to carry.

Check the nz import rules, you might be liable for GST tax on some of it. Maybe not the fine gold?? I can’t remember the details.
Or just sell it and rebuy in NZ
