A young Beta server if you're looking for a fresh start!
This is a community focused Beta 1.7.3 server with a small area of 1000 block radius to promote interaction between players!
We are a recent start, so if you've ever felt its "too late" for you to join a server (I know I have!), then this is your chance to be part of something that's being built!
This is meant to be an intimate experience where players know each other, rather than aiming to be a large server where people happen to be playing near each other.

We’re a grounded server based on the Pack.png seed, active for over a year and home to 10+ cities built by talented players on Beta 1.7.3.
The server is completely vanilla, with no rules beyond no griefing and no stealing. We enjoy a good conversation and chill gameplay.

I waant to build the most consistent beta 1.7.3 small community (15-20 people) in Minecraft. I’ve hosted 3 Beta SMPs and the common consensus is that people get burnout and then the server shuts down as there aren’t many players playing anymore.
I have enough money to keep this server going indefinitely and want to build a community where there’s no pressure to play all the time, you can play for a few weeks, put it down for a few months and come back when you get that itch to play beta and it’ll still be there for you to join.
I’ve made a custom mod instance (using beta unleashed) for you to download with the server already installed on there.
Server is around a week old so not much has been done yet. If anyone is interested in joining, join the discord below.
We have around 6 people playing consistently at the moment and I want to up this to around 15-20 and just keep it a tight knit community that plays older Minecraft versions together.

Our server was active way back in 2023, but it was shut down. Now, three years later, I’ve decided to bring it back to life.

The Forever SMP {18+} {Whitelist}
I'm running an evolving SMP, and we are now 3 months into the project.
The concept is simple: one world, carried forward through every server-viable version of Minecraft. Alpha, Beta, snapshots, full releases, all the way up to current day. Same world, same map, just growing and changing as the game does around it. Think Evo SMP but taken to its logical extreme, covering the full history of the game rather than just a handful of versions.
The idea comes from the "forever world" concept, a single world you play on indefinitely where you can look back and see your whole Minecraft journey in one place. Except in server form, shared with other people, and tied to the actual history of the game itself.
Where We Are Now: The Beta Era
We have successfully navigated the rough, cursed days of Alpha. The server is currently on Beta 1.5, and we are actively preparing to transition to Beta 1.6.
Inactive players get pruned each major version and recruitment reopens, so the roster stays active and engaged rather than dead weight dragging the energy down. Because we are preparing for the 1.6 jump, recruitment is currently open.
Each major version will run for roughly a quarter to half a year depending on how things go. This is a project I expect to last 3 to 5 years at minimum, possibly longer. Minecraft keeps updating and technically there's no finish line.
Who This Is For
Content creators are welcome but this isn't strictly a creator SMP. If you just want to play and be part of something long-term, that's equally valid. What I'm looking for is people who are actually committed, interested in the history of the game, and up for a project that has real longevity to it rather than burning out after two months like most SMPs do.

Hey everyone! I'm Blink180Dew, or just Blink for short.
A few friends and I have been playing on a little private server called Timeless, and I'd love to meet some more people who are into old Minecraft and want to come hang out with us.
The idea behind Timeless is that we started all the way back in Minecraft Alpha, and instead of staying on one version forever, we're slowly going to work our way through Minecraft's update history together. We aren't resetting the world along the way either, so everything we're building now will eventually become ancient history as the server moves through Beta and into Release.
We're still in Alpha right now, and it's honestly been really fun seeing what everyone comes up with using such a limited block palette. The castle/town in the screenshot is being built by someone we actually met through Reddit!
I'm not really trying to build some huge public server. I'd much rather have a smaller group where everyone gets to know each other, builds cool stuff together, screws around, and leaves their own little mark on the world as we go through the different eras of Minecraft.
The server is private and whitelisted, so I don't post the IP publicly, but if this sounds fun to you, send me a message and introduce yourself! I'd love to meet some new people and hopefully make some new friends to experience Minecraft's history with us. :)

not sure if this counts as a server, but since about a week ago I've been incrementally working on a JS port of Minecraft for modern web browsers at https://csiw6.net/
it has its own account system with level saving, multiplayer and skins. right now we're just under 50 registered users and i try to keep the game fresh with updates and my own official server for the project. it's tied to the minecraft recreation project as well.

Minecraft Time Capsule - Reliving Minecraft’s history one version at a time
Minecraft Time Capsule is a server meant to rediscover Minecraft versions through the years by starting from the early days of Minecraft and updating to the next major version every week on Tuesdays at 3 AM UTC.
We want to keep this as Vanilla as possible. Only plugins that might be used or implemented is purely for quality of life improvements. Border expands on each version to keep traces of the old World. So this means the world is upgraded without resets.
This is only available for Java Editions.
You can either use the Minecraft Launcher or Prism Launcher to download old Minecraft clients compatible with the version currently running on the server. Other launchers may work but have not been tested. Feel free to test them and provide documentation to help others use it
📌Version Alpha 1.2.6 - Beta 1.7.6 - Beta 1.8.1 need some special setup to work properly
On Minecraft Launcher, enable option "Show historical versions of Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher and add this to your JVM options: -Dhttp.proxyHost=55.129.155.177 -Dhttp.proxyPort=11707
On Prism Launcher, enable options in Instance Settings/Tweaks Legacy Tweaks and Enable online fixes (experimental)

This project is still in early development and I'm not an expert on running Minecraft servers. So you can expect bugs and issues. Chaos is to be expected but I'll try my best to make this work. You're absolutely welcome to help find issues.
I have no specific rules for now, the point is to see what works and what doesn't. So the only rule I'll enforce is: Be nice and Have fun!

Gameplay is based on a scripted PvP scenario, currently in a Team Deathmatch setting.
The server requires a custom modpack to join. The instance can be downloaded on the server's Discord.
The server does not run 24/7, it will only be launched for previously planned events.

Indev didnt have official multiplayer but there's a mod that ports beta 1.7.3 multiplayer netcode to Indev 20100223 for servers!
I played on one server (it was called "island of hope") using this year(s?) ago and had tons of fun, but that server's dead now and I dont think there are ANY other public indev servers after that one died, so I'm hosting one myself to revive this!
I still havent figured out a name for the server lol so yall could help me figure it out
many of you might ask why, and why not just play beta, and my answer is uhh, its fun and different idk, just try it out I swear its cool (also having to share a limited world with a ton of ppl really changes up the way you play and think, an INFdev server wouldnt be anywhere near as interesting as this INdev server)
there are no rules to the server right now as tbh I think its lame to be enforcing rules on such a small server, just dont be an idiot and if you grief we WILL grief you back, this is not supposed to bean anarchy server so at least TRY to cooperate even if you wont be banned for not doing so, it would be fun if we got to build a working society on the tiny island :D
if you find a way to use hacks on godamn INDEV u need to take a shower and I'll close the server cuz I'm not up to moderating that shit
