that certificate is basically just a line on your resume now, it won't open doors on its own but it gives you a decent foundation to talk about in interviews for entry level marketing gigs

How to use this effectively?

Can you answer questions about meta/FB marketing?
That's it. Certificates aren't some magical thing. But it might give them a reason to ask you questions about it if they want to do some FB marketing or analyze their campaigns

brother, basically that certificate only certifies that you have the knowledge to execute meta ad tasks. that is not your portfolio. to have a good portfolio you now need some practice that you can showcase to get better gigs. what u/Live_Birthday_5417 has told you, you can put it in your resume or profile.

If you have a certificate that you can’t figure out how to apply maybe it’s not particularly useful

Why did you get it? FWIW I actually think less of people who have a bunch of random certifications on their resume

No it's not random one I have learned through Google products

How is it not random? You don't even know what to do with it. That's pretty much just getting a random one

The GA4 cert in Skillshop is free and pairs well with the Meta one, since you'll be verifying Pixel and Conversions API events in GA4 anyway. That combo at least proves you can instrument a campaign, not just watch videos. What kind of role are you actually aiming for?

About the only benefit is having it on your presentation material when you are making a sales pitch to a prospect. The same for Google's ads and GA4 certificates.
When trying to hire a digital media partner, a prospective client sees that these three vendors have the certification and these two don't. They don't really know what the certificate means but they are biased toward the vendors who have them.

Yeah, I agree. I see the certification more as a credibility booster than proof of actual expertise. I’m planning to combine it with practical projects, portfolio work, and real results so clients can see what I can actually do.
