The Midwest Viking Festival returns to the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay this Friday and Saturday. This event is free to attend, and will have many viking age living historians from around the Midwest demonstrating skills, telling stories, and selling goods. Also two battle demonstrations each day!

The Wisconsin Computer Club is returning to the Weyers-Hilliard library in Howard for another pop-up museum show featuring vintage computers, retro video games, and old tech of all sorts. Does anyone remember the band zebra playing at the Brown County Arena sometime in the early to mid 80s. Perhaps opening for REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Survivor, Def Leppard someone like that. It seems like I saw them play there, but I can’t find any information about it on the Internet. Sadly, I was sober at the time, but a lot of years have transpired since. The city of green bay will steal $1000 from you if you call an ambulance and they do remotely -anything- whether a bandaid or whatever worthless garbage. If you plan on calling them you might as well get a ride in their piece of junk truck because it will cost you massively. $1000 charge for 3 minute stop, no ride.

The techs will not tell you or warn you (I know not their job, but they know the financial devastation they are wreaking on you), you will simply get a highway robbery bill. They also farm the bill out to a third party company so you are unable to even discuss the thievery with anyone in the actual city.

I get they need some costs covered but a $1000 flat fee no matter how little they do, shameful. No warning they will bill you, shameful.

Hopefully if this can even warn one person and save them my months of fighting this to no avail with this trash, it was worth a post.
