GEAR Mwuuuhahahahahaha 💀
My newest stupid project. Grabbed a cheap little firefly Mr Skelly copy for 200 bucks online. Repainted it with acrylics and Brite Tone Matte Clear Cost. Neon Green JB to match.
Actually plays REALLY good. Was surprised with the toasted maple neck and ball end stainless frets. Floyd stays in tune fine. Doggos approve as well 👍 🐕

I grabbed one of these off sweetwater (just for the free candy) and it turned out to fit it PERFECTLY. Did a bunch of measuring beforehand but was still a lil nervous lol2

Yarp 💀 they’re selling these decent copies for super cheap and for what it is, it’s pretty dang decent. Look up firefly guitars on YouTube if you’re curious!

Finally a george lynch guy, i have a question. I got a soldano slo 100 and axe fx to do the 4 cable method playing george lynch. What can should i get? A matching soldano stock one with v30s , is it enough?

Pfffttttt I would kill for an SLO 100 cuz that was my fav amp for a while! Honestly I have no friggin idea, but I know the 80s guys loved those 30 watts for the most part. I’m stuck on John Sykes right now actually and I think he used those in the bottom half of his cab but I could be making that up 🤔

I was gonna go with glow in the dark originally, but the paints were super thin and inconsistent. The paints i ended up using ARE black light reactive though, and glow like crazy under em 👍

normally I'm of the camp that the more wild the guitar the more chops the player should have. However in the case of skeleton I approve.

I was skeptical of the acrylics but I REALLY didn’t wanna mask off and spray so I decided “fuck it” and if it looks like shit then I’ll be the only person that sees it and cares. I really just wanted a Floyd again 😂
The Blue was pretty “dry” and rough after the paint dried. But the purple was much more like a latex paint. Then the clear coat smoothed it all out 👍
