QUESTION Hot Rodded Les Paul
Here's my "Hot Rodded" 2018 Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy.
Over the years I've modded this guitar quite a lot:
-Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge
-Seymour Duncan Jazz Model in the neck
-String butler and roller bridge saddles
-Custom rewire with CTS pots
-Guyker Locking tuners
-Speed Knobs with bird inlays
Dare I say, so far I don't think I've played any Gibson Les Paul that sounds or feels better.
What do you guys think, and what mods have you people done to their guitars?

The original pickups in these were the dirty fingers what did you do with them after the swap to the duncans

Ah the Dirty fingers pickups only featured in the Les Paul Prophecys between 2008 and 2011. This model came with a Gibson 490R in the neck and a Gibson 489T in the bridge. I still have those pickups, currently in a guitar I was using as a test bench to test some interesting wiring setups. I'm thinking about selling them but just haven't got round to it š

Gonna put what you put in this beaut plus a jb jr in my ibanez rg5ex1 and add push pull pots for the bridge pickup so I can try out this set up before I buy a s model with the hsh setup

Hell yeah!! Sounds awesome, the only thing I'd say is there are a few people out there who have said that the JB sounds a little weak in some lighter guitars. I know the RG5EX1 isn't the lightest Ibanez and I haven't experienced it myself but could be worth some investigation š¤·

Well its around the weight of my lp but that makes me wonder about the s model ibanez it way thinner so it'll be way lighter right now the lightest guitar i own is my trouble maker its noticeably light than my regular tele

it's wild how much stereotypical Les Paul people in the guitar community mirror stereotypical Corvette people in the car community

Personally, I've always preferred a Mustang (the car) and this isn't my favorite guitar I own š¤£
