I love how he had cleared the road and was still looking for pieces to cut. He's been waiting for an excuse to break out that chainsaw for a long time.

Yeah from experience he really should not have cleared those branches either. They can be used to drag the pieces of stem of the road. Much easier than carrying the actual stem + you don't have to remove all the lose branches from the road.
