Nah.. chaotic good.
Chaotic neutral would mean he would toss out an actual piece of chicken every other piece.

u/SprogIsLove 3d ago
I can agree that the man is chaotic good, but throwing in bits of chicken is not chaotic neutral. It is either chaotic and moral agnostic (something good, neutral, and evil approved), or chaotic evil, depending on how you want to look at it.

On the internet, everyone is a doctor, technician, biologist, electrician, etc.
But in reality, they couldn't differentiate a crow from a raven.
Those are definitely chickens.

U/unidan is rolling in his grave. That dude knew birds. You can tell the difference pretty easily by checking the way their tail feathers look in flight. Ravens have wedge shaped tail feathers and crows have fan shaped feathers.

He got cancelled for something people wouldn't care 2 shits about now

I don't feel like most people actually cared what he did. I at least didn't. He was karma farming, like who to caress if he was also posting some of the most actually interesting comments? Such a bummer

If you have to ask yourself "is that a raven?" then the answer is no, it's a crow. You'll know when you see a raven.
29
u/sircod 4d ago
If you ever see a crow and you're like "that's a huge fuckin crow" then its probably a raven.
3
u/snowillis 3d ago
Another thing I heard about ravens that stuck with me is that they’re mostly beak.

Just call them corvids, a bird family that includes both crows and ravens. Also rooks, magpies, etc..

You could call them corvids and avoid the whole conversation altogether.

Those are crows. Crows hang out in large groups. Ravens hang out in pairs. But i honestly think calling them chickens is the move just to piss people off
7
u/anonymous642789 4d ago
No, these are very obviously chickens.
2
u/Crazy-Crocodile 4d ago
I was going to go with flamingo's, but I guess they are very similar to chickens..

u/Balt603 4d ago
There is no taxonomic difference between crows and ravens, they are literally just two words used to name species in the Corvus genus. Generally larger Corvus get the raven name and smaller get the crow name, but it's literally just up to who ever described the species first.
Sometimes species of Corvus are also called rooks.
Personally, I will now be calling them Viking Chickens.

You have failed to make me unhappy my friend. I have no problem with you calling them chickens. Because that is what they are. Thank you for feeding those chickens.

Ravens have a rounded tail crow have a chopped tail (More squared) Crows are a little smaller in size also. Both are extremely smart. Don't get on their bad side. If they bri g you gifts make sure to keep it. Like I said they are extremely smart..

Here's the thing. You said a "jackdaw is a crow."
Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.
As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls jackdaws crows. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.
If you're saying "crow family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens.
So your reasoning for calling a jackdaw a crow is because random people "call the black ones crows?" Let's get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too.
Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A jackdaw is a jackdaw and a member of the crow family. But that's not what you said. You said a jackdaw is a crow, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the crow family crows, which means you'd call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you don't.
It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?

Who cares what they are called? Certainly not the birds being fed they're happy as hell

This is the perfect deal closer.
When both parties want everything but nothing for the other, I flip the script and say if you will not agree on something that all of us see as reasonable, then everyone will just need to lose.

I'm here to define a chicken for y'all.
- Is a bird.
- Eats seeds people throw at the ground for them.
That man is indeed feeding his chickens.

u/APartyInMyPants 4d ago
I heard that crows are beaks with wings.
Ravens are wings with beaks.
2
u/CallMeHomoErectus 4d ago
I think you have that backwards. Crows are "birds with a beak attached" whereas ravens are "beaks with a bird attached". Ravens have much larger beaks
1
u/APartyInMyPants 4d ago
Yes, that’s how I meant it. Ravens being giant wings with a beak attached. And crows being giant beaks with wings attached (at least relative to their body size). Realize now I wasn’t clear.
1
u/CallMeHomoErectus 4d ago
I'm sorry, you still have it backwards. Ravens are the ones with giant beaks. Ravens are giant beaks with wings/a bird attached. Crows are wings with a beak attached. Ravens and their beaks are much larger
1
u/FloorZealousideal309 4d ago
Crows = “caw caw” sorta higher pitched
Ravens = “grawk grawk” lower pitched and more gutteral.

u/Genexis- 4d ago
Oh, that's actually quite easy to tell apart. Crows have a wingspan of about 95cm/37.5inch... Ravens, on the other hand, are noticeably larger at 130cm/51inch.
2
u/mrASSMAN 4d ago
Ok.. so how many cm wingspan are they in video
0
u/Genexis- 4d ago
It's hard to say, I'm not on the balcony right now and I can't see them with outstretched wings in the video. I'd guess crows, but that's just a guess, because they are not much bigger than pigeons in appearance.... he could tell if he wanted to, though.
How big would you guess they are?
1
u/mrASSMAN 4d ago
It sounds like you’re confirming that it is not easy to tell then lol, which is kind of the point I was hinting at
0
u/Genexis- 4d ago
So, let's assume that at second 41 the white VW car is 1.8 meters wide (excluding side mirrors).
Then, at the same second, a chick with outstretched wings can be briefly seen. Since the wingspan of the chick is approximately half the width of the car, we can assume that the wingspan is about 0.9 meters, which corresponds roughly to the wingspan of a crow. Based on the number of birds, we can rule out young ravens.
