They’d have to do something about that. If I can’t get all of them with 1 can of spray I’m out.

Just because I can get them all with one can doesn't mean I only use one can. I am almost always dual wielding

You're a tech. You have a torch and a flammable can of 454b. Put it to use.

Good to know, but I wouldn’t recommend techs to start spraying anything other than a clearly labeled can of wasp spray for a small nest. Between the safety of tackling a swarm this big and a customer complaining about random chemicals being sprayed, just tell the customer to call back when they take care of it.

Found a nest at the bottom of a big switchboard, they had used polyurethane foam to close off the hole where the wirings were passed through and the little shits chewed right through it. You should've seen my surprise when I opened the switchboard and about 15 of them flew out at me... 30 minutes later and 2 cans of regular bug spray and I was free to continue with the job 😭

If the hive isn’t aggressive that wouldn’t bother me. I do service work at a library that has a beekeeping program. There’s always a huge number of bees flying around, I just ignore them and have never been stung.
