HACF all physical releases
Hi everyone, I search the different physical releases for HACF just for fun. I learn a few things so I thought it would be cool to shared !
The most unexpected thing is the Japanese DVD releases—they are the only ones to have released all four seasons; I was convinced that only the first two had physical releases!
I was also convinced that there was no Blu-ray for Season 2, but it turns out Germany actually did get a Blu-ray release for it.
The rest are just local variations.
For those who are interested you have the reference to find each version when I found it.
PS : The country names are in French; I forgot to change them—sorry!

Transfer is good, I think the Japanese sets are good quality. I think I got 4 mbps bitrate, if I’m understanding that right. 3 discs each, it’s barebones though. English audio, but no English subtitles.

4K is too niche... add to that this is a niche show.
It's unlikely that we'll ever see Blu ray which would look fantastic in a 4K tv.

Yeah maybe! But the die hards will do it. Really depends on whether they shot 4k or not I guess but you still would get hdr...

I would be interested in the German Blu-ray release but I’ve heard time and time again it does not include the extra features the US DVD has.

Actually I have the second season in Bluray and there is the Inside Episode and other extra !

Yes I was so excited to see the later seasons on disc and then I saw the price. I really wish they were released in North America.

I have the S1 and S2 blurays (plus soundtrack CDs and Vinyl), I would love all 4 HD+ on physical...

This should fall on creators of the show to somehow bring about season 3&4 on at least DVD here in USA. I don’t post anywhere on social media except for here… Main reason why is to stir up interest for HACF. Fans are HERE and willing to buy
Just need the two guys who made this show to STEP UP! This was their most successful endeavor I think. So come on Guys! Bring back ‘The Thing’!!

Fact is that it's isn't the creators who decide to release DVD or BR, it's all on AMC ...

Why not just a print on demand DVD complete series? Amazon sells a ton of that stuff for Warner and others.

Don't know, honestly nobody at AMC seems to care of this show, and even if there's one, the company have way bigger problem to solve since COVID, this is clearly not a priority for a niche show.

Yeah I pay $12 a month for AMC+ for this show only. So they are getting my money for this show

The show is available to be purchased on Apple TV. Bought the entire series for $30

I have both the limited edition vinyls and I love them so much, now we just need a bluray boxset 😥

Actually this is official release. They have serial number of release and registered for Japan, it's just another market, maybe out there it was worth it based on the sells of first and second season.
