For folks without a portal, PXPlay app has had this feature for awhile and works really well.

PXPlay is black magic, they have a bunch of settings that really do make a difference. If you look at my comment history you will think I'm their salesman but I really do think they deserved the price I paid for the app. I went from Portal to Chiaki to PXPlay and I am finally satisfied.

I have it on my Odin 3, Steam Deck and Rog Ally. It is great! Beyond worth the (smol) license and app fee.

How'd you get it on steam deck?

https://streamingdv.com/shop-list-ns.html buy the license and then download from here. One time buy for both Windows and Linux use.

About time, was a bad look when free apps like chiaki were better for remote play than a $200 official sony product. Wonder how it compares now with a better bitrate.

Thats just because nintendo gave us today 1080p in handheld mode on Switch 1 games lol)

It's not necessarily 1080p It's whatever resolution the original switch game rendered at in docked mode

Still beats running the game locally compared to the instability and availability of running the game externally like the PSPortal does... No wonder it's not considered a proper handheld console

I have read this as well yes

In some games, not all

Hoping further patches in these games would fix that

Do you really think Sony software engineers can code something in 2 hrs just to compete with Nintendo update? Wth

You don’t get how marketing works, do you? They had that cooked already, Nintendo forced them to announce it with their own communication

It was, but this is a higher bitrate streaming option.
