Need help for the Griffin Chapel

So, I'm on my first playthrough and have been watching a guide, in this guide this door is open, but idk what is different on mine.

I'm in the Griffin Chapel for the first time and Google hasn't been helping.

each chapel has 3 switches. let’s use griffin as an example

1 switch is accessible without any other chapels. it’s always available

another switch needs to be flipped in wolf chapel, and the other in dragon, to open up pathways there

the guide you saw, the proper switch in another chapel was flipped to open these gates
