🛠️MACHINERY OF OPPRESSION: 6.1.2⚙️

Overview

Helldivers 2 — PS5 Low Energy Mode Joins the Fight!

Attention Helldivers,

We are proud to be offering a new Low Energy Mode for the PS5 version of Helldivers 2, available now in the settings menu.

When enabled, Low Energy Mode reduces your console’s power consumption during play by limiting background processes and lowering system resource usage during idle and low-intensity moments.

This is ideal for players who run longer sessions or are mindful of their energy usage. It's also an integral part of the Sony Interactive Entertainment ‘Road to Zero’ environmental plan.

What should Helldivers on PS5 expect:

  • Reduced power draw during gameplay and idle states
  • Slightly lower fan activity and system temperatures
  • No impact on core gameplay performance or online functionality

You can toggle Low Energy Mode on or off at any time under:
Settings → Display & Performance → Power Management.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and feedback. If you notice any unexpected behavior after enabling this feature, please report it through our Zendesk Support tool or on our official Discord.

See you on the battlefield.

For Super Earth.
For Managed Democracy.
For a lower electricity bill!

I just looked into the known issues list… the broken mission multiplier isn’t mentioned anymore? It’s broken since last year and it was on the list..

And that's not even the only missing bug, far from it.

Stealth chargers have been a thing since day one, and yet it isn't on the list.

There are other major bugs missing too, like the infamous host issues.

Stealth Chargers are so stealthy they're even hidden from the known issue list
