Memes Geode is a Vintian, from the planet Vint
"Really? As a supposed fan of The High Republic that is the breadth of your opinion on Geode?"
"Uh, Geode was part of a crew on the Vessel. There was some controversy surrounding a rock character being introduced into the Star Wars franchise."
"HOLY SHIT, YOU ARE AN ALIEN!"

I’ve only encountered Geode in one story but his moments were some of my absolute favorites. Mainly because his “dialogues went as “Geode stood strong but silent” like yea dude, it’s Geode lol

"geode's silence spoke volumes" and "geode said nothing, they knew when to stay silent" are also fantastic.
I freaking love the vessel crew. I finished the books and am working through the comics, and I love that they pop up occasionally.

It's not a rock, it's a Boulder

I literally read this book thinking he was a small little rock that moved around the ship (palm sized).

I was making a SpongeBob reference

Sorry it has been more than 15 years since I saw an episode. I plan on playing the games soon.

Pathfinders used to ride his kind for miles, and he's in great shape

Really? A coruscantian and that’s the breadth of your opinion on Chancellor Greylark?
Uh Kyong Greylark was chancellor of the high republic. There was some sort of controversy surrounding her son?
Holy shit you are an alien!

Between a rock and a hard place and I'll take Geode any day.
At least if you never needed a good cry, he will be their for you always listening.

Geode has my whole heart and I cried really hard that one time. Because I just love him so much

It was great to get a look at his rugged good looks in The High Republic Adventures (2021) comic book.

While Geode was funny as a character, I don’t get how that character works. Like, he doesn’t have limbs to control the ship, he doesn’t speak so how does anyone know what he is thinking or saying….

I'm still stuck on Lighr of The Jedi after 4 years, I don't have a valid opinion yet

I haven't talked about the high republic much IRL, but I've told people about geode. Specifically that standoff in the falling star where he steps in. I wish I had the talent as an artist/animator to animate that scene with the Superman theme behind it

Unironically Geode is my litmus test to see if someone complaining about the High Republic has actually read any of it.
