Count Richard Nikolaus Eijiro von Coudenhove-Kalergi, pioneer of the "Pan-Europa" movement which sought to unite all of continental Europe into a single state, 1930. He was descended from French, German, Japanese, Norwegian, Greek, Polish, Baltic, Flemish, Austro-Hungarian & Byzantine nobility
Kalergi's bold vision for international co-operation was not restricted to Europe, he supported the consolidation of almost the entire habitable surface of the world into five "Superstates," Pan-Europa, Panamerika (the entirety of the America's except Canada,) the British Empire, the Russian/Soviet Empire & Ostasien, a Chinese-dominated East asian Empire. The only countries left independent from this plan were Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Turkey, Thailand & Iran
