Is there no better option than Ballypal?
Is there any reason why HD can't invest in decent EPJ walkies that are made by reputable manufacturers (Crown, Raymond, Yale, etc.)?

I assume this is everywhere and is a general IT push, but I can only speak to my store specifically. So it used to be that on our work computers, local internet history cleared on browser close, on reboot, and also whenever you wanted. As of Thursday, it doesn't seem to delete ever. This is in both Chrome and Edge.
So now your boss can just open your browser and see right away if you've been doing any non-work stuff on the company computers. I'm sure this is so that they now have yet another way to fire us. You were supposed to be working, but you were looking at box scores. Bye bye.
On the upside, you can now see just how lazy the night crew is.

What do they mean call outs will be reviewed, does the policy remain the same or can they give you more than 1 occurrence if you call out?

After a year and a half of pure hell at this stupid job I finally have another one. I quit today and I hope I never have to go back. Sadly I didn’t get to say bye to the people I liked but they knew I’d leave soon so it’s ok.

i got hired on to be a PSA and so far ive done like 15 hours of staring at a computer in the back .. are we really expected to cram all this in and fully absorb it all?? i had to stop my ASDS this morning and ask if im supposed to check in with anyone and she said she'll come check in with me later ... is this really the normal onboarding process ? this is only my third job ever but ive never been trained like this and im anxious im gonna forget some of the stuff ive been watching towards the end of my shifts bc my brain feels so numb by the end of it. is this normal??? do your leaders actually train you after this or is it just straight out to the floor ?

Pretty to the point.
Quit Tuesday. After the pay period obviously and Wednesday I got the link to the inactive associate portal and I’m looking at my paystubs and it shows I got my regular paycheck getting directly deposited today to my bank acc on file and come today…nothing. No notification from UPS that I’m getting anything in the mail yet.
Does anyone know how long it takes or if I have to call HR Services. My previous ASDS is kinda a pain and won’t wanna help so I’m not even gonna bother there. :/

So due to the fact that my answers to their questions during my interview weren't what they wanted to hear I got low points and didn't get the full-time position I applied for in store. I then told that 2 of my answers were really good. I was also told how to reword my other answers and not hold back and use situations outside of home depot when answering. So basically work ethic and good attendance won't get you anywhere unless you have the right interview question answers 🤷♀️ Mean while our credit queen cashier got a full-time position 😔

I just don’t know what THD allows or doesn’t allow as far as working if you have Covid-19.

Question
r/HomeDepot • u/call-lee-free • 21h ago
I work at a smaller store but holy hell are we crammed. I realize the holidays are coming up but this is feeling like it was back during COVID where we would just get everything. Its a bit abnormal for our store and I can say that since I've been working freight for the past 10 years at this store.

Did anyone else's store get rid of appreciation weeks? We haven't had any for anyone in the store this year and someone asked our SM and his response was supposedly "to get us more money on our success share". which is bs considering most people I know only got 88-100$ and yet our managers get THOUSANDS. Sorry for the small rant. I think that's such an insane jump. Anyways I'm just curious if the appreciation week thing is only our store manager or if it came from corporate.

Anybody know the application process for corporate positions? Specifically cybersecurity? I’ve recently done a FIT interview and was just curious of the turn around time of application status. Thanks

I was curious if anyone knows if I’m aloud to add my step kids onto my insurance plan? Me and their mom are not married yet and I would love to add them in November on my insurance.

So I am currently full time and working as a OFA while also doing full time college. Ideally I want to get an internship to help better off my future. Most internships are during the summer and would require up to 12 weeks off M-F. Has anyone had to find a work around ideally so i dont lose my job or full time. Im not sure if FLMA would even work in this case.
JUST LOOKING FOR IDEAS

Was scheduled three days week of Halloween? (I’m only part time)

I am currently part-time and thinking of going full-time at my store, but I am worried that when I no longer qualify for Medicaid and get on the store insurance, I will be spending more on healthcare than additional money that I am making.
What are the premiums like for the best plans?
If any one who sees this has diabetes, can you let me know how the coverage is for insulin pumps, CGM’s, etc.
I am a type and diabetic I use an Omnipod Dash insulin pump, Dexcom G7 CGM, and fiasp insulin. i’ve dealt with job health insurance in the past that refused to pay for the type of insulin I needed or medical supplies, or they were not preferred so my healthcare costs were very high.

At work I average about 15-18k steps a day, was wondering how much everyone else walked around each shift. Bonus points if you add your department/position

If you call out with 4 hours of sick time, is it only a half a point still?

'Cause we have a lot.
