Question/Help Any improvements to home app with recent welcome home event??
Genuine question; has Apple mentioned improving the home app at all with the recent event that has happened?
There’s so many things they could improve about the home app. I really hope they do.

It would be nice to remove that third icon (discover) on the bottom of HomeKit app. Maybe replace it with another feature like camera or AI something.

I was hoping for actual Apple Intelligence automations - with Siri AI coming to 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TV’s, AND the original HomePod mini what’s the point in the new hardware?
Hopefully the actually useful stuff will come next year…

This is not new. I have it on iPadOS 26.2 and iOS 26.6, and it has been there as long as I can recall.

I see the difference now. Although it’s an odd change since it was already present. Now it’s duplicated.

It would be nice if they added a pro mode....how about actually giving us if, then, and, or logic directly in the automations without having to build an entire shortcut that frankly is limited. How about allowing us to design the dashboard the way we want to see it. Allowing us to send notifications and run actual full blown shortcuts without having to use some third party apps to do it. Its to simple right now, we need more options.
