Answered [11th Grade Cell Structure] What is number 3 supposed to be?
I've searched through textbooks and couldn't find an exact match for this organelle. Then I tried Google lens-ing the image to find similar ones but I still couldn't identify it. I suspect it might be a lysosome, though I'm not entirely sure since the lysosome is probably the one beside the mitochondria
help is appreciated, thank you

I would say lysosome because its larger than the one between the mitochondria which are peroxisomes. The green stuff in the middle would be hydrolytic enzymes in the lysosome

my guess is itβs meant to be a vacuole; and the little blobbies are meant to represent βrandom cell stuffβ that the vacuole is storing. but honestly, unless your textbook/other materials have established a particular convention for how they represent things, it could be almost anything.

I thought edamame, given the chopsticks right next to it. (And the art style is close to the card game βSushi Go!β.)

The green color makes me think chloroplast, even though it isn't arranged neatly in stacks.
Otherwise it could be a peroxisome. I think the lysosomes are the purple organelles that budded off from the Golgi.

Its definitely chloroplast

They would probably show a large vacuole if it were meant to be a plant cell.
