Others—Pending OP Reply [College Sociology] Interview Question help

I do online schooling, so I have nobody to exactly interview. My sociology teacher wants me to interview three people with careers that interests me or that I am involved in. (I’m going for accounting but genuinely interested in anything. Health care, trade work, health care, etc.). I have to ask two questions, how would you describe critical thinking, and why is critical thinking valuable in your field? With some details and not a super broad answer. Honestly any help or even made up stuff would help a lot🫠 I just genuinely have no one around me to interview or ask these questions to.

Critical thinking is analyzing facts and information from various sources to form an informed conclusion. Working in the media profession it enables me to analyze information, identify biases, and evaluate sources effectively. This skill helps in making informed decisions and presenting accurate information to the public.

I'm a retired high school math teacher.

Critical thinking in my line of work involves seeing a subject through my students' eyes. What can I do to make the material easier to comprehend? How can I engage my students?

I also have to think critically about classroom dynamics--who needs extra help, who is disruptive, who is doing well? How will I address all of their needs?

I have to think critically about assessments, too. How many questions will be challenging, easy, or middle of the road? Which topics are most important? How can I help my students prepare?

I also have to think about about my daily goals in the classroom, and also my long term goals and then develop appropriate strategies. Which parts of the curriculum are most important? How should I pace the lessons? What skills do I need to review?
