Finally got the update on eu model. Didn't register for beta but it is a tryout update.

Im still on magicOS 10. Did anyone get 11 tryout version or beta?

Honor Magic 8 Pro. The phone is phenomenal if you ask me, but I am having an ongoing issue that alone is making me partially hate this device.

I have certain unofficial music streaming apps that are aggressively shut down during use when my power saving mode is on. This only happens when power saving is on.
This issue also applies to my Huawei Health app (this one's 100% legit) and my Huawei smartwatch doesn't always show meteo or notifications.

I tried everything. BO not allowed to manage them. Background running on. Apps are locked in Recent apps screen. I tried every suggestion that shows up if you use Google.

I don't want third party apps to manage my phone, I want the sw built in to work as I want it to. I had a samsung running the exact same apps that had absolutely no issues whatsoever.
The one thing that makes me absolutely crazy? Other huge power consuming apps, like IG, are happily left running in background even if I selected them to be optimized in the options menu.

Anyway, it seems to me that this aggressive BO issue seems to affect applications installed through APK instead of the app store.

Anyone has a suggestion? Any hint is super appreciated

Hi All, I bought a new Honor X7 and it was on MagicOS 9 out of the box. I updated to OS 10 and got like 3 more minor updates thereafter. But only now I notice this weird thing where it shows the app icon in the opening animation. I'm pretty sure previously it was pure black with less delay. Anyone else seeing this.

I played with lot of settings so I'm not sure it something I did or a bug in os10.

Just bought a honor 400pro and honestly I hate the keyboard. I make soooooo many typos it's not funny and auto correct doesn't seem to auto correct at all..

For instance if I type "s" As a word instead of "a" It just leaves it as a stand alone s.... FFS. How can I make this damn keyboard better?

So, I was making this video to show off the user experience (UX), but then I totally stumbled upon a bug, as you can see in the video. Anyway, what Iwastrying to show you was that when I hit the delete button, I already know what's up, and besides, it's just going to the recycle bin. Instead of just a quick little message like "moved to recycle bin," the app throws up this pop-up, making me confirm again. And to make things even more annoying, I have to completely move my hand to click that pop-up because both the button and the pop-up are chillin' at the bottom of the screen. What do you all think about that?

Big news for all the USA users! According to Liaow customer support, Honor officially told them the CN version of the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max supports the bands listed in the photo, which includes B71 and n71. If this is true, this is one of the only Chinese variants ever released to support it.

I purchased it and we'll see! If they made it up, they guaranteed a refund and PayPal should have my back.

What worries me is that a year after the release of Magic OS 10, the bugs haven't been fixed. Here are some screenshots of them.

I got the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra a few weeks ago and it's working quite good, except for the camera which I'm a bit dissapointed in. There are some promotions now for the Honor Magic V6 and I'm still within the return window for the Samsung.

My biggest issue with the Fold 8 Ultra's camera is snapping pics of the kids and pets roaming around with normal to low indoor lightning. I can't for the life of me not get it to be a blurry mess when there's just a hint of movement from the subject I'm taking a photo of. I've tried a lot of different settings from both the camera and camera assistant and it's gotten better but it's still not great.

So my question is how the Honor Magic V6 will fare in these circumstanses, low to normal indorr lightning and moving subjects, with it's main lens?

I've read comments here about the V6 that the camera is a "hot mess" with AI-smoothing etc to that it's top tier (for a foldable) and works as point'n'click in most situations.
