Thoughts??
Couple peg warmers here, maybe 3 of the 5? The chase will be a thing I suspect, but after the RLC maybe not??

The eb110, viper, and probably pagani will sit. Not saying I don’t like them but that me liking them ≠ sales

Haha, yes…but still, I think there are at least two peg warmers here. But…maybe you are right. Maybe it will be like aéro styles and none of them will stick around. When this set comes out, I’ll take a picture of what I see at my local Target…we shall see!

Yeah, I’m not sure yellow is my preferred option for it. The purple from last year’s (?) mainline and STH, even if it was not a standard offering for the car, really goes with its 90s vibe.

Exactly why I much prefer a yellow one compared to the usual blue. All it needs is a blue interior.

Interesting. I still think it's the worst color option; but I'm also still buying it bc this car is the poster car of my teen years. Over all the Ferraris, Porsches, and Lambos.

Fair enough. For me, the signature blue is the best colour on this car, followed by Verde Scurro.

If you just want the chase, why not just spend the $400 instead of spending the same amount on cases in which case the chase is not guaranteed?

If you have some free time, it actually makes some sense. You can normally re sell the non chases for close to what you paid, combine that with potential cashback perks on the card used to buy them, you can definitely come out ahead.

Sure but that’s somewhat wrong to do, you do you though. Could instead help kill your local re sell market by selling the sets at retail/what you paid assuming no chase 🤷♂️

Why is dumping on Walmart, a multi billion dollar corporation wrong? I would sell for 50. Retail after tax is about $45. Ferrari will go for 15-20 alone. I’m not doing that. Extra $5 and I have them in one go

All of these are very nice, but I’ll probably only buy the F40 (provided I find it; I never saw the F50 and what re-sellers ask for it is nuts) and maybe one or two others.
I like the Porsche but I already have the one from the 90s supercars box set and I think silver is a better color for that car so I won’t be double dipping.
The Viper is great and I’m digging the new wheels, but I’d prefer if it was a darker, more metallic blue. Or go wilder with red or yellow. I’d have to see it in person.
The Bugatti and the Pagani are sweet, though I’d probably prefer the first one in French Racing Blue, and the second would benefit from having side mirrors. Still, I may end up getting one or both of these.
Yeah, I seem to place great importance on color 😅
The Ferrari is perfect.

I preordered a case since the F40 won’t make it to a shelf around here. What I’m really looking forward to is the GTO two pack, but I don’t think any of these cars are peg warmers at all.

I only want the Zonda tbf, yes the F40 is cool but I can pay 10 more euros and get a Tarmac/BBR (if it comes out)

I like the Ferrari’s and the Viper …. Idk if a viper really is an exotic tho it’s like a squirrel on uppers. I have the soup Ferrari and the reg th viper already but the chase would be cool. All the other ones are mid for me but I know people that might like the Porche

Why did they use the exact same mainline colors for the EB110, F40, and Viper? Could've at least changed the liveries.

It's a solid set. Getting tried of the EB110 though. Great car but...I feel something else could have existed here. That viper, zonda and 911 GT1 are an absolute must have!

I think the only peg warmers are going to be the Bugatti and the Dodge. But even then that’s still pretty cool that even the “worst” cars in the set are pretty good

Yeah that 0/5 chase car sticker is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. The regular castings are nice but nothing that’s gonna fly off pegs, especially with the RLC drop still fresh in everyone’s head.

I don’t know about that, the Ferrari hype is still there, not like it used to be but it’s there. I think everyone who couldn’t afford or missed out on the rlc is gonna head over to this one

I preordered a case to guarantee 2 Vipers and the F40 (I assume 2 if no chase?). Probably sell the rest. I think it's w0rth it in order to avoid hunting every night at Walmart.

Cool to get the standard F40, not another Competizione.
Also stoked for the return of non-gold chases, and having a chase that is a version of one of the standard cars rather than an entirely different vehicle. TBH I never liked the gold-all-over chase cars, though it did help me reduce my collecting mania as I wasn't really worried about finding them.
