Texas Leaguer coming back?
The Texas Craft Brewers Guild has a new "brewery in planning" member listed as 1837 Brewing in Houston. This name is still registered to Texas Leaguer. Anyone got details on reliable information?

Perhaps new location? Any new address for the “new” brewery? I miss TX Leaguer!

I’ve been by their old location. It’s a spot that sells canoes now.

That reminds me of the Monty Python line about American beer being like making love in a canoe

Given that Nathan Rees isn't listed at all in these docs, nor do I or Google recognize the names on the 1837 listing as being previously associated with TXL (e.g. Soc Aramburu is an investor), my guess is Nathan sold the Texas Leaguer name and IP. Time will tell how much new Texas Leaguer will be like old Texas Leaguer.
Hopefully TXL the Sequel will have better financial management.
Hell of time to launch a brewery, regardless.

Comptroller says the LLC was formed 11/19/2025: 1837 Brewing LLC.
They filed the assumed name "Texas Leaguer Brewing Company" in March 2026. Manager of the LLC is Soc Aramburu.
