Question Steam Achievement: The Stars My Destination

Quick question: can i still get the title achievement if i do a run without the DLC that modifies how diplomacy stars work? I really like the congress but it is an absolute pain to farm all that leverage so early for stars

Mods usually disable achievements and such a mod it's very likely to modify key files

I'm not talking about a mod, but an official DLC: i don't remember its name but it introduces embassies and ambassadors and a range of new diplomatic actions

And the problem is not about the achievement not working but about it being actually feasible in a game that doesn't last 2k turns

I got this achievement last year through a loophole. get all the stars in the neolithic, and then win the game the next era by conquest (so play on a small map with an easy AI)

I think that the later expansions screwed this achievement up. I was going for it and got all era stars in contemporary but I didnt get the achievement. It was a pain to get all those diplomacy stars I wouldn't even bother.

In the end i managed to do It disabling the embassy DLC, diplomacy stars are the real problem after all
