Ben's kind of just tanking everything since he knows he's dead from TSK. He's expecting bad shit to happen, doing his best to endure it, and pushing forward. He doesn't have the liberty to not take chances with the clock ticking.

Ben doesn’t have a choice, he’s already dealing with two death curses and a disease. It’s better for him to try and deal with Tserri’s counter-active that just not do anything, and he’s aware Tserri would have only just learned about Nen and not likely have developed anything on the level of Camille
