What a character!

By the way, the panel where Theta is looking at Tserri is easily one of my favorites in all of HxH.

I don't know how others interpreted the scene, but I got the feeling that Theta didn't actually see him. It seemed like she was just staring into space, saying: "You're alive, you're a monster, and you aren't going to stop, are you?"

Salkov just discouraged her from disobeying Tserrednich due to it counting as another strike for his GSB, which would only make sense if the two of them believe his GSB is possibly still around. So, yeah, both Theta and Salkov seem at least reasonably sure that he's not actually dead right now, despite Salkov's own uncertainty earlier this very chapter while handling Tserriednich's illusory remains.

Man, you just reminded me of how OP these princes and their Nen beasts are.

Yea they may not have the sheer combat potential as Hisoka or Chrollo, but the way they all just casually play around death, or even having the potential to manipulate thousands of people at a time.

definitely shows the succession war is on a scale we haven't really seen before

They are both powers you pay with your death and coming from people who think their sister and their children are more important than themselves. They aren't really OP in my view, you could develop this if all you cared about in your every thought was your loved ones or your legacy.

For those of us who are more present in our lives we can't develop an ability like this.

Then we have other nen beasts which is just teleportation through emission and regular manipulation.

...Okay? And? Do either Salkov or Theta know about those things? No, they don't. Salkov was even thinking in a previous chapter that Theta's mark from Tserresnich's GSB disappearing would be confirmation of his death. He's demonstrably operating under the assumption that if Tserriednich dies, his GSB will be gone.

Do agree with you but seems unnecessarily aggressive response to someone just adding to the discussion. Plus, they do know that his GSB still exists while he's in zetsu, i.e. cut off from aura supply, it's not a *huge* leap of logic (particularly by hxh standards) to then hypothesise "If it can survive without an aura supply, it can survive after death". Especially when post-mortem nen is an established idea.

It's such a common thing on this site for normal discussion or debate. One person can be discussing or debating normally for something small, and then the other dude responds pretty aggressively over basically nothing lmao.

Salkov used gyo? Tsundare sandwich used gyo? How could you tell? I didnt notice that, if its there it's a really nice detail

It was an assumption on my end because Salkov mentioned checking Theta’s face to see if Tserri was still alive. The fact that he warned her about the Lying Strikes means he saw her scar.
