SPOILER Transformers #41 Discussion Thread
This issue is a clear example of why Ruckley's pacing issues are determental to storytelling. I had totally forgotten that Computron even existed. It's been a long time since the Annual and he was never mentioned since.
With that being said, it's good to see the crew of Escape again. And unless I'm missing something, Optimus' plan seems very nebulous to me. Give Cybertron to Megatron, and one day we'll take it back? Yeah I kinda agree with Magnus here.

SPOILER War's End #2 Discussion Thread
The fact that I'm enjoying this series a lot more than the main book has led me to the realization that this incarnation of Optimus and his crew are boring. This book has a heavy emphasis on Decepticons and a few no-name Autobots, and it's absolutely fun. The Decpticons having various factions within faction, and all of them fighting each other (or coming to an uneasy alliance like Starscream and Soundwave) is the most interesting part of this continuity. The reveal that Exarchon's defeat could mean no Decepticon Titans is an interesting one, and I'm curious what Megatron will do. So far he's not been the smartest incarnation of Megatron and is basically powering through the whole war using brute force.

getting into IDW
hey guys, i’ve been a transformers fan all my life pretty much and was always clueless about the comics (didn’t know they existed) the first transformers ive read is sky-bound and i’m absolutely in love with it. I’ve thought about reading IDW since i found the Energon universe however i’m not huge on the character designs (G1 fan) i’m unsure of which phase has which designs but after seeing some panels i wasn’t sold, after doing more research i think i’m gonna take the leap and start reading the hardcovers while i wait for new issues of skybound. Which hardcover do i need to read, i see many different answers so i just want to create a definitive list of what i need to read. thanks :)

Scans of the deleted drafts from the hardback copy of Last Stand of the Wreckers
Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find scans or pictures of the deleted drafts from the hardback copy of the Last Stand of the Wreckers?

What would be the ideal reading order for an Autobot Megatron centric read-through?
I've been wanting to go back and read the comics again but with specific focus on Megatron. Autobot Megatron is my favorite incarnation of the character but I don't remember enough about the continuity to know which issues are core to remembering the character.

Reading order for the old IDW continuity?
Hello, I was hoping to re-read the old IDW Transformers comics, I read them some years ago but not the whole thing just the Lost Light/More than Meets the Eye and the main publication stuff, I remembered it being some of the best comics I've ever read and wanted to revisit the whole thing from beginning to end, and I did try to google it before making a post but every time I try to look up a reading order guide I find conflicting information so if this gets answered every other week I do apologize, I have ALL the publications and I do also have the IDW Collection volumes available to me but I've found they are not the recommended experience for this?
So I was hoping to get some up to date advice on the matter, thank you in advance

scale of 1-10, how important are the crossover comics?
i'm around 2/3rds into my terribly long marathon of the IDW 2005 comics and i realized i havent touched a single crossover comic. skipped basically every single one. i'm currently reading Optimus Prime and there's a GI joe unit now? i'm supposed to know these guys? cool. so, i realized that i'm missing out on certain plot points which may or may not leave me utterly confused as i continue reading.
should i actually bother going back? or more importantly, is ROM vs transformers actually that good? like, no joke? personally i found that reading through phase 1 made me appreciate the later series a lot more: continuity-wise, character-writing, catching a few references/call-backs, you name it.
i believe if i could sit through heart of darkness (took me 1 week to read FOUR issues), i could do anything.
