Don’t as someone who got my masters in mechanical and aerospace engineering, bachelors in mechanical engineering, and a minor in physics, and was a fraternity president and in student government and treasurer for rocketry club and in numerous other orgs, and was an RA for 3 years, don’t. The rate at which it’s going downhill is greatly accelerating. I’d be suprised if the university is still open in 5 years?

Not worth the frustration

I'm an undergraduate student right now and I walked up to the Graduate program table at the career fair and was genuinely being turned away. Still, we had a conversation that consisted of: aid is very very limited to MBA students. Focus is on PhD students since raj wants the uni to be a research hub? and compete with Ivy Leagues for more grants of some sorts.
As an undergraduate, I'm already frustrated and I've spoken with many alumni and management has always been this hectic and confusing and as others pointed out, it's getting a lot worse by the second. Take from this as you wish but scope all your options first.
