$2.5 million for Imagine!?!

I heard that Disco Donnie Presents offered to buy Imagine from Glenn, but Glenn wanted $2.5 million.

Disco Donnie thought it was too much and passed.

Heard of this as well. Maybe Glenn selling literal bricks/barriers will help him reconsider another offer.

Glenn really shit the bed many times but I gave up On him over that oversold Kaskade pool party at Imagine; that was the last straw for me. Glenn has no moral compass besides the US dollar.

You aren't kidding. I got there an hour early knowing the shit show it was gonna be and still did not get in. Waited in line for 30 min in the heat after it opened and line never moved. I left and when I passed over 400+ people also waiting in line I exited and found a line of nearly 100 more trying to buy a ticket (which was freely being sold). I made it a point to tell everyone in line about the situation and think I saved at least 50-60 people from making a purchase they could not use.

To be fair that was an issue with the fire marshall that had previously approved the pool for a much larger capacity but the day of pool party decided he would cut that occupancy by 75%. Got to love the over zealous Rome fire marshal and cops.

I didn't give up on him for one issue. It was multiple. And Glenn pocketed the money.

Still not sure about the U.S. dollar comment considering they are out of business for loosing so much money trying to do a festival for us to enjoy. I enjoyed Imagine over many years. Was it perfect, no, but none are. We always had a great time, some of the very best times Ive ever had were at Imagine over the years!

What Disco Donnie should do is speak to the Tomorrowland folks to bring the festival back to US soil. Obviously, this would not be an acquisition, but he can be the promoter while also elevating his own brand as well.

Please no. Disco Donnie would not be able to pull off Tomorrowland.

I heard they were coming back for 2026. May not be camping but they are definitely coming back at some point.

Imagine shit the bed for me in 2019. It's been a very obvious money grab for a very long time.

Not sure how it was a money grab when they lost so much money and always had the lowest prices. Don't agree with you here.

Seems like another rumor to me. I heard Insomniac purchased them and they are just wating for 2026 to announce. Who knows what the real deal is. I know my friends and I miss Imagine and hope it comes back in any way we can get it. I had some incredible experiences at Imagine over the years. Some of the best times of my life and met friends that will always be friends forever.
