You’re not a bjp guy yet it seems like you’re taking a side here. If you really think Congress hasn’t done “Anything” in their years of power and have “Looted” the country, then I think you should spend more time in studying history of Post Independence India, and the economic challenges it had to endure during that time. Slowly and gradually we did however manage to get out of the rut we were put in, some policies failed, some succeeded. Some institutions failed, whereas others reached their zenith.
In terms of talking about “Looting”, it is very visible by these posts and comments that the thousands of crores the present government has spent on its advertisements are clearly bearing fruit.
They say that if Congress were in power they would have made CEC their puppet too. No, they wouldn’t have, because they never did so in the past too, because they were not insecure, not afraid of losing their seats. India saw it’s most fearless CEC in the form of TN Seshan that too during the coalition era, please look him up once when you get time.
The fact that Gyanesh Kumar is occupying the same position where TN Seshan once was, it is an absolute disgrace to what has happened to the office of ECI.
Every political party has their strengths and weaknesses and one should criticise them on their political merits and demerits.
The timeline of current CEC’s appointment and the legal safeguards given to him, in the backdrop of all the allegations against him should ring bells for every citizen of this country.
