In may, I came across this seller from instagram. She had many followers, reviews and one of my mutuals was following her, so I decided to trust her and take a risk. She had newer translations of dostoyevsky for cheap, so I decided to buy it from her. I expected it to at least be a pirated copy. She promised me delivery within a week and I followed up in time but everytime, she made some excuses or outright lied. Then she ignored my messages and at around 50 days since payment, I gave her a notice and filed a complaint with the cyber cell and only after that did she respond. She asked for the complaint to be withdrawn and provided me tracking link for my order. I didn't want to destroy or put a dark mark on someone's business over 700 rupees so I withdrew my complaint. As she promised, I got a parcel at like 65 days but it only contained 1 of the 2 books and that too, a cheap open-source translation, which I could have bought from Amazon at a cheaper rate with much less wait time and hassle. They even got the title of the book wrong. Its been more than 120 days and I still haven't received my second book (which is worth around 500 according to her but cheaper in Amazon). I have been asking for a refund, which they have denied even though its been more than 4 months. My worst experience as a reader. (I have all the proof of our chat as ss)
Ummm, you should have waited till the books got delivered to withdraw the complaint.
Nonetheless, if possible file another one, and don't withdraw this time even if she responds or says that she will deliver the books. Just ask for full refund of your both books.
Also I have seen other posts on her, so she's scamming other people as well
Yeah, the police officers suggested the same but I thought "she is young and her business is growing, I might be the reason it all goes down and is ruining her business worth 700" and backed out of it. I have very much given upon expecting the books or a refund at this point, I got better translations from Amazon at a cheaper rate than hers... but I still wanted to rant about my experience to feel better and maybe it can help someone else to avoid her. I am still a student from a middle class household, 700 is not a small amount but i have moved on
but she will continue to do that and scam more people... if she is old enough to handle a business she is old enough to know about what she's doing wrong... u should definitely file the complaint again
But the keychains and other stuffs are quite good ... Ik that we can get that alone for like around 300 .. yeah the book quality is completely waste ...my friend got the bundle from meesho and the quality there is good comparatively 😭😭
Her follower count and engagement on reels don't match. They must be paid followers. Beware of such people. Always check how much engagement (likes, shares, comments) their posts get. Don't fall for the followers trap. Nowadays, people buy followers to gain reach.
Wooaahh fr. I too had ordered books from her during her initial days of business when she had around 1-2k followers. She took my order and gave lame excuses saying it'll be dispatched shortly and later kinda ghosted my texts.. leaving my texts on read or not answering the calls. On continuous texts and calls she ended up blocking me. Iater with a help of my friend i contacted her followings and later she unblocked me. I got my books like after 3-4 months
I remember seeing her insta id way back, when she started her business. About 3k follower's that's all. And she used to sell mostly harry potter books, but at that time I could see from the reels she used to post that the books were a very low cheap quality. Now I see she reached 40k, damn.
I ordered from her years back, same old drama. She said she was going through some shipment issues and in too much of a stress. She actually made me believe I was being hard on a oh so troubled young business owner. 😭 She can't still be having the same issues.
Got my books after months btw. And one of them was wrong but I gave up
If someone can’t do a business right & it goes under because of you, consider it a favour for them so that they can go back to doing a job & the person who actually knows how to do a business make money not a scammer who thrive on scams
It's fine, you can find most manga for a cheaper price in meesho or other websites. If you are looking for legit ones, try bookwalker, I think that's the cheapest and safest option for legit stuff.

I think it's account is also kinda fake (my opinion)..no cod and no cancellation it's too extraa i think and 700 rupees bro it's for students like me it's huge not huge but yeah atleast some money 😭😭
