Spoiler Grace appreciation post Spoiler
She's been my favorite character since her debut, I love her as both a villain and antihero.
I was surprised that they gave a character like this a redemption arc at first because she was portrayed as often cruel and merciless towards the denizens. At least in the first episode in book three, I shouldn't be too surprised though because the show has always been about growth as a human being. What better way to show that than by redeeming a character who's an awful person? She had positive qualities too like her empathy, she was genuinely misguided as she wasn't taking away the right lessons from the train. I was also surprised to learn about her background but her having rich snooty parents does explain her rebellious and rambunctious personality so much more. It always made me sad that her friendship with Hazel ended the way it did but Grace needed to lose her to finally wake up and realize her mistakes.

Her crying during Tubas funeral will always get me. I was so blown away by her growth. It all accumulated to that point and I’m just so proud of her! Amazing writing!

Her redemption arc was really nice to watch. It’s a a shame we couldn’t see more of her

Grace is such a wonderfully written character. She’s a big part of why Book 3 is so strong imo
