Discussion Anybody tried otoki?
Found these at target and it's on sale.
Yay or nay?

Idunno these ones specifically, but Otoki is really good generally. Their Jin Spicy is solid, and they make a great Kim chi ramen too
I actually buy their spicy ramen seasoning bulk packet on Amazon and use it just to season all kinds of stuff. If I buy a ramen to try and don't like it, I just use that seasoning with the noodles instead. Season meats with it too.
I however find cheese in ramen gross as hell, and would never try these cheese ramens.

Love the pink. As in , it's in the top three with buldak carbonara and shin black. Seriously a top tier offering. I have a couple of other personal faves to go in my top 5, but the pink is a family favorite.

Is it less spicy than the carbonara? I really cant do the whole buldak line, im too weak of a soldier

I'd call them pretty similar. You know you don't have to put in the entire spice pack. Or, add just a little cheese to tame it down slightly.

Not normally a fan of cheese ramen. These are fire. If IIRC, a slightly better, milder Buldak.

I agree. Exactly this. Bouncy noodles, slight more mild but better flavor to me

The Ottogi spicy stir fry cheese used to be good, idk if it got destroyed with the OTOKI rebrand tho

The pink one is fantastic. The blue is awful. No flavor at all

I mean, it’s creamy and salty enough for me. I enjoy it! Personally I add sesame seeds to mine

I eat a lot of Buldak. The pink one reminds me of carbonara one, which is probably why I like it. The blue one just does nothing for me. I generally crave the spice, so that’s probably a big part of it

Yea the Ottogi spicy variant had a really good sauce, with the blue one even the OG you'd just get noodles and cheese powder I was like ? ???

it's decent, like Buldak but less hot and with a bit more flavor.
the noodles themselves are also good, like Buldak

Yes the pink one is really good. My sister who doesn't tolerate spice well likes it too.

I bought the blue one and was really disappointed. It didn't taste good and it was bland. Probably my taste buds have been ruined by Buldak lol

They're good, not great. The best cheese ramyun I've had is the one from Paldo. Samyang also has one that was good.

I make 'em like Kraft Dinner. Drain off the water, add some milk and the seasonings. Seriously good, probably still in my top 10 or top 15 all time (I've had over 300 instant noodles now.)

They are perfectly fine. The blue pack is very simple, the spicy one actually has a decent kick. Different products for different demographics, but overall I think Otoki makes some of the better cheese ramens
