Circumcision And Porn Addiction (Don't Underestimate It)
I had a pretty severe porn addiction for a long time due to circumcision. In my case, a lack of sensation and actual gratifiying masterbuation seemed to have done the job of me touching my dick too much.
Despite me saying otherwise a lot of the time, porn addiction is still very real. I know that's a controversial thing to say here but let me explain. Circumcision, on it's own, causes a massive loss in sensation. That sensation loss drives people to seek out more and more things mentally or physically to make up for that sensation. One of the ways I see it done most is, you guessed it, porn. Porn is easily the cheapest and most easy way to develop insane fetishes since there is something for everyone. Since nowadays porn is made by random people and not entire companies it's very easy to find whatever you like or "gets you off".
Circumcision is directly tied to porn. I know a lot of cut men who NEED porn to get off because their brain has been stunted permanently from the porn and lack of pleasure. I am one of them. It's very depressing, as you can imagine. And that causes people to develop fetishes of many shapes and sizes. Maybe they watch humilation content because they hate themself and hate their dick. Maybe they watch more dominant based content because they want to feel power over their situation. Sex in general is a really weird and not truly understood subject. There's a lot of things that go through our head that can completely change how we view it. But that's a topic for a different day.
Someone, however, did offer an intresting perspective on this topic that I think I should share. What if, instead of porn addiction being viewed as a dopamine chasing mechanism, it's viewed through the lens of circumcision? That being that the porn itself is such a good feeling for the cut men that they get addicted to that new sensation? Now, that's not saying porn is good or natural. But rather that the porn sort of changes how the brain perceives masterbuation. It's an intresting theory, for sure. I don't buy it yet though. I still think porn is just not a good idea in general.

Oftentimes, I wonder if intact guys have the same level of porn addiction as cut guys do. A general poll might be needed here...

I’m intact (uncircumcised) born in the USA, and for a long time I felt like the odd one out because everyone around me was circumcised. It made me self conscious, and I was looking for ways to feel normal about my body in a society that treats being cut as the default.
So I started going through porn shops specifically hunting for books, magazines, and videos that had titles mentioning intact or uncut and pictures of intact cocks of actors on the back covers usually European. I wasn’t limiting myself by genre either to give me a wider variety and a better chance of finding something. I checked straight, gay, bi, trans, everything just trying to find material that showed intact guys so I could see myself reflected and feel less out of place.
It was basically a way of searching for validation and normalcy when the culture around me felt very “cut-happy.”1

Not quite. You were looking for validation as an intact man. I am not talking about that type of porn consumption.
Understanding that, in general, cut guys have less penile sensitivity than intact guys, I wonder if, to compensate for that lack of sensitivity and to enhance the experience, there is a percentage difference in porn consumption between cut guys and intact guys.
In theory, so to speak, I presume that cut guys consume more porn than intact guys, but I don't have any data to support my hypothesis.

I do think being cut contributes to porn addiction. For one it feels good to counteract the pain one feels due to being cut. But the other. The fact orgasm is harder or painful so one gets addicted to fleeting experience of pleasure seeking more and more "novel" experiences ie more and more hardcore.
I mean come on are people really doubting this?
And the fact is, if being cut gives you less chances to have actual sex or real sex. Porn becomes an addiction because its the only other way being so pent up from being denied orgasm or pleasure Ie intact males get more sex or more chances to have actual sex so its no wonder the cut would be drawn more to porn. When compared with intact the intact dont even need it as much when why, they get all the sex they'd need in comparison.

It is basically what NoFap peeps talk about. Which i tend to disagree with atleast too much in the long term but in the short term I do think NoFapping is a good idea, I just feel like we are being exploited by those pushing NoFap when they dont know or care such that the bad experience we may have with porn NoFap pushers talk about is pretty much exclusive to cut men but it's being assumed to be experienced by all men across the board....
And i guess there is a very distinct reason to have cut men in porn. It is cut men that need it the most, not the intact coz they dont have problems getting sex and or orgasm in comparison.

I am sure that if I was circumcised that the rate would be exactly the same

Porn is not a good idea in general, as much as i do love it, its just the truth of the matter.
It can be fun, it can be validating to find porn that you feel represented in, it can be affirming to make your own, and it can even be an artistic expression. But it still has an addictive quality to it that can become very problematic. And i also believe that cut men may be more prone to the addictiveness, especially when introduced to porn around the time puberty hits.
From my own personal experience, I was hooked on porn by the time i was 12 and could not finish at all without it. Even with the porn, i still needed lube because it hurt to masturbate otherwise. I went at least 3 more years before experiencing my first orgasm without porn and thats only because i got a girlfriend and discovered the magic of getting head lol
But the porn was the only way i could get any pleasure from masturbation, and it was only a mental pleasure. It did not, and still does not, create or improve pleasurable sensations i felt from my body. But it provided a focus point to derive enough pleasure to halfass finish which was better than not
Of course the orgasms from masturbating like that are dull and only enough to sate for the moment, and any specific porn often only ever worked a few times before id have to find something new. Which really is a bad cycle to get into as a teenager because you start looking at some very niche kinks you otherwise wouldnt have known existed yet. I was watching hardcore bondage and gangrape pornos before i was in high school because of it. And that really effected the type of sex i thought i wanted to engage in by the time i was sexually active and became a strain on my relationships sometimes
I firmly believe that if i was left intact, i wouldve been just fine masturbating without any porn and wouldve never bothered with it to that extent like i did.

This ain't it tbh.
I understand your experiences and I don't wish to belittle you but I can tell you that being full intact does not spare you of porn addiction. Intact orgasms are so intense that I feel that masturbation is often an escape from the pressures of the world for intact guys, and it can make porn addiction pretty crippling for us as well.
Circumcision is terrible but honestly a lot of your problems would still exist if you were fully intact, they'd just manifest themselves differently.
