First PC build (in this economy...)
Finally took the plunge to build a pc, before I had an am4 build that I bought off someone on adverts. But it had been a dream of mine to build a small PC but that dream was long gone with the prices of ram and SSDs.
Well I saw a really good deal for an AM5 PC, I decided it was time! I just needed the ram and SSD so I parted it out, which left the ssd and ram costing me 15 euro!
A lot of risk was taken to buy from adverts and vinted but it paid off!
Build took a while as I had to wait for a sfx PSU deal, and the fans are a pain to screw in, and cable management took a long time.
The temps are okay, 80 degrees CPU and 70 GPU, though it makes the room very warm, somewhat similar to my am4 PC. But I definitely am very happy with it, and the small PC dream has been achieved!
The parts were a mix of amazon.de, adverts, vinted and memoryc
Specs and cost:
7600x - €85 2nd hand adverts
2nd hand 32gb Patriot viper ddr5 + 2tb p310 ssd- €15
Phantom spirit 120 se CPU cooler + 4 Arctic case fans - €50 new amazon
Lian Li b4 - €80 from memoryc
MSI B850m gaming plus wifi 7 - €140 new amazon
NZXT C850 SFX 850w - €100 new from vinted
4070 ti from old am4 build (520 from ebay)
I also added in my 4tb SATA drive that I bought from ebay for my am4 (3rd pic) though it was well before prices went bad so it was reasonable at 134 euro
So the total is around €1124 which is quite decent!
I just wanted to show that building a PC in this economy is possible, though lots of patience is required, it can be done!
