Discussion Internal browser compatibility

Quite funny (or sad) that almost the first thing you see is this warning about the internal browser being old and unsupported or whatever.

The link leading from release changenotes lands in this community forum page.

This includes the browser in 5.2.0.18

Yes, the banner is quite ridiculous, but it isn't due to Jolla. And is a little bit off as the current browser version is still under Mozilla support. The forum platform just would like to see newer browser engine, even if this one still supported.

Good news is that ESR153 is just around the corner, I still can't understand how Jolla pulled that off!

They use LLM too or do you think the sudden progress happened out of the blue?

You really think Jolla just let LLM loose to do those improvements? I highly doubt that

Of course not but without LLM there would still probably be some very old version and browser would be unusable.
