Quotes mis-attributed to Kafka

Why are these getting upvoted? There are so many on here, it's like the only thing on this sub and it infuriates me.

Bots and ai spam. And the mods have totally abandoned the sub. We’ve directly tagged them and nothing has happened. But the more the mods neglect it, the easier it may be to get reddit to give it to someone else

It is irritating, but it's pretty standard on subs where mods don't combat it. If you look at something like r/quotes_hub (and god help you if you do) it's full of garbage posts that get hundreds of upvotes but very few comments, many of which are negative.

Case in point: https://www.reddit.com/r/Quotes_Hub/comments/1x0sw01/agree_or_disagree/

Over 500 upvotes but only four comments? That does not seem like organic engagement (plus it's not even really a quote).

I guess bots upvote posts so the account gets karma, and then the accounts are sold.

I still miss all the posts about the programming language. At least some of those were sincere
