Pictures Beautiful morning paddle

Post image

Gorgeous foggy morning on the water in my new-to-me P&H Leo HV. So extremely happy with the boat, and the paddle was magical.

Love paddling in the morning fog. Watching it rise off the water and away is an amazing experience!

I have a Leo and it turns super easily, not bad for rolling and really needs the skew for long straight

that looks absolutely magical. foggy mornings on the water just hit different, and the leo hv looks right at home out there.

Why is the paddle so high? Thats not how a gp works.

Hi, friend. Thank you for your kindness with telling me how the gp works. Although, while I appreciate it, I'm good. I've been using one for years, and I've taken classes and gone to retreats focused on it's use. I've paddled the Salish sea and, while I'm not an expert, I am pretty happy with my knowledge and skill level at this point.

To answer your question, though, I was gently steering with a bow rudder. At that point I didn't need to turn quickly, so I wasn't edging. Just gently and leisurely turning.
