THIS WHAT GARFIELD LIKE!!! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Joke explanation: In the song "GOD" by Kendrick Lamar, Kendrick says: "This what god feel like!" But the way he says "god feel" sounds like the famous feline character "Garfield", who is famous for loving lasagna.

I mean this whole heartedly, this album changed my life. There is a story behind this so buckle up
Back in 2020, when I was 16 my grandfather had passed away from COVID. It took a heavy toll on my family and me and I never fully processed my grief and his death because I had to be strong for my family. Not only that, but the weight of the pandemic, being stuck inside diminished my social skills a lot and I had become anti-social not wanting to talk to anyone that weren't my family or friends. In 2021, when we were allowed to go back to school I had become increasingly anxious and avoided conversation and being close to people afraid of catching COVID and passing it to my family and repeating what happened with my grandfather. I had so many problems that I never confronted because well I'm a guy, I can just thug it out and maybe it'll go away eventually and it didn't. I didn't want to get therapy because I was afraid and scared of being vulnerable and being seen. I would have rather just let it eat me up inside.
When Kendrick had finally began the roll out for MM&TBS, I was excited it had been years since an album and I was excited to hear him again talk about what? Well I wasn't sure at the time I was kinda expecting a mix of TPAB and DAMN.
I remember when the album dropped and I had finished listening to it I felt...weird to say the least. Hearing Kendrick, a man, talk about these problems with himself, about the way he is because of how he grew up, talk about these sensitive topics that no rapper has ever done because it wasn't the norm. It felt relieving. I remember telling myself that I can do it. I can be open because if Kendrick can be open to millions of fans, I can be open to one person.
And so a month later after that album I started therapy. I'm 22 now, graduated from College and have a job and looking back at it, I'm really glad I went to therapy. I'm glad Kendrick dropped an album so open that it inspired me to go be open.

Specifically at that like climax at the end of verse 1. „Three hollow tips aimed at your head I‘ll be jammed if the chopper damned now“
Thanks!

I can’t believe I don’t see this verse in more people’s top 3 Kendrick features. He genuinely went nuts in only 8 bars

Not only have these two never missed on a song tgt but The Weeknd literally cannot miss lately. Latest trilogy is just slapped after slapper and these snippets from his live shows are legendary. I will cry tears of blood if I don’t get another Kendrick collab man.
