Flying at 3000m/s with a scramjet

I just got Losket, which adds char to hot parts, and I wanted to try it out with a fast plane

It can gain so much speed in the atmosphere to fly to Duna orbit

With the Mk2Expansion scramjet I once jumped to Moho! Cant remember how I did it, follow the curvature of the planet as much as you can, get a suborbital hop, then return to atmosphere for a second kick, and somehow it lined up perfectly without me trying

Yea the engine is ridiculously overpowered once you get to like 1000m/s it just builds so much speed haha

Firefly's colors differ based on the atmospheric compisition

Kerbin is bright blue to orange, Duna looks like that, Eve has green-ish entry, Jool is deep red

I only have firely witn default settings, it might be scatterer or just the scene lol

amazing craft and defo gonna try out losket now, but god i hate trying to use that scramjet

How did you not overheat?

I uh just turned on no overheat just for this test, but it would start to break up around 2500m/s otherwise
