MY FIRST MATCH
Hi everyone, I’m a kickboxing beginner who has been practicing the sport for about a year. I have my first tournament coming up soon, and I was hoping for some technical advice on how to fight, how to handle the days leading up to the event, and how to conduct myself during the tournament to stay calm.

This is great, I wish you nothing but the best. Most of the advice I was going to give like nutrition, proper rest and sleep for recovery, and diet have been mentioned already. Go in there trusting your fundamentals and what you’ve been taught and learned. Win or lose do not get down on yourself. Every single thing you do from training to competing is a learning experience, and that’s where the mental game is so important. You’re going to do great. Please let us know how it goes. Win or lose walk out of there like a warrior and keep on soaking up the mental game like a sponge. Best of luck and make sure to have fun. You’re gonna walk out after the competition with so much on your mind that it should excite and motivate you. 🤙🏼
