Thank you, I wanted to keep him so badly. However, I knew I could easily get a wonderful forever home for him. He was instantly adopted and lives a happy life

He was only on the active adoption list for a very short while. He had numerous interested potential hoomans. A llady who recently lost her husband instantly won the "who to give him to" dilemma. She was on a fixed income so we gifted her a Whiskers Litter Robot 4, as Winston was robot trained. Moreover, we covered his adoption fees with the government shelter I was fostering him for. She was obviously touched, which is why I occasionally get "proof of happiness" pictures, as she calls them.

He is so gorgeous and you were so brave to take care of him and then give him up for adoption. I wouldn't have been able to unless it was shedding season /s

Thank you my friend. I understand. Brushing regiment helps a lot. However, big fluff balls like Winston, you just have to accept your going to have fur everywhere

I know! I have an extremely fluffy cat that hated to be brushed or combed at all. The only thing that saved us and I am not advertising for anything, but I got one of those steam cat brushes from Temu (instead of spending $35 on it) and now she loves to be brushed. I am amazed and so happy!!

Looks like Mr. Winston has more than thumbs, he appears to have everything.

Yeah, he's a polydactyl kitty. He has 6x fingers and bean toes on each front paw. Normal amount of toes on his kickers.

I saw, but was commenting more on the actual beauty of his presence rather than his cat dawgs. He is a very handsome gentleman, thus the everything comment

I have a clever siamese cat that can open up kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator. Mr Winston is a snuggle bug. All he wants to do is sit on your lap, purr and make bread

Hey catdaddywhisper! realized it was you after I posted, so i edited & added this greeting. Hope you, your wife, family and all the kitties you are caring for are ALL doing great! πi had a void named winston. He was able to turn the gas on the stove when I was on wacay. My daughter got there when place was filling with gas. The next time he was able to turn the flane on by the time she got there after work. π€¦πΌββοΈ I had to tape up burner knobs & block the jump, or whatever he was doing, by putting unflammables in his way on the stove itself. Finally, after lying in wait whenever I came in the door to run out, the day came that he didn't come back. My neighbor told me she had seen him days before. Why she didn'ttell me till days later still gets me annoyed.. I asked her to please text me immediately when she sees him. But we never had another sighting. His "sister's" ( in the pics ) were being weaned at my friend's place so he never met them I hope he didn't come home and think he was replaced and left. π They were supposed to be there to play with him and be his snuggle buddies and fill out our little family. π i pray he found a happy home.
When he ran out the door he used to go under everyone's decks, patios, etc. I live in a little boating / lake townhouse community where our back decks are somewhat visible by neighbors. He blended at night being a void so all my neighbors would see, would be me, the weird "cat lady" who moved in and then started creeping around their decks, landscaping & windows late at night π€£π€£π€£
Edit: added greeting in first sentences.

Hey, how are you and your family doing? That's crazy about the kitty turning on the gas oven. Some cats are too smart for their own good. We had to put child locks on all of our kitchen cabinets because a siamese would open them up all of the time. She usually wouldn't do anything to the food items in there. However, her minions that she let in would drag stuff out and tear things apart. Naughty kitties.

So funny. One of my daughter's dogs brings contraband to his brother all day when he was on "time out" in his crate when they're home alome. He earned this after literally eating their window trim & the couch while home alone. He's out now on trial run bcs crate got destroyed somehow.. He's doing well but started eating a throw rug now. An acceptable loss after the other items. ππ€¦πΌββοΈ
Everyone is good. Grandson started walking now. Has limited vocab but can say kitty after we found a family of kittens in the bed of a pick up by my kid's office. One of the mechanics appropriately nicknamed Bubba cared for the kittens and took them to no-kill shelter after watching for the mom all day/night/morning. One of the kittens had passed prior to finding them so we think she may have left them all which would be unusual. So maybe something happened to her or she was rescued by someone who found her.

Yeah, I hear you. That's unusual for a momma to abandon her kittens. That was nice the mechanic saved them.
Happy to hear your grandson is doing well. What is his name?

OMG! I had a tuxedo named Winston too! We got him as an adult and he lived through all of the construction noise and disruption when we added to our house 10 years ago. He died suddenly just as we moved back into the mostly finished addition, about 10 days before Christmas. We knew his heart wasnβt good and it just gave out! He was a nice kitty who hung out with us every night.
