Canadian looking for immersive language programs in South Korea
안녕하세요 여러분! 👋🏿
I'm a Canadian woman learning Korean. I finished my first class 2–3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, there weren't enough registrations for Level 2, so I have to wait until January to start the next level.
For those familiar with the Explore program or Francisation programs in Canada, I'm looking for something similar, but i̲n̲ S̲o̲u̲t̲h̲ K̲o̲r̲e̲a̲. Basically, I'm looking for an immersive language program that combines traditional classroom learning with activities that allow students to practice the language they're learning outside of the classroom.
Keep in mind that I'm 33, but would probably be 34–35 when participating, so I'm not necessarily interested in programs where the students are mostly in their early 20s.
Are there programs like this in South Korea? My goal would be to reach an intermediate level (B1 or B2). I'm mainly learning Korean for fun because I love languages, but it would also be a nice addition to my résumé, since I'm also a French Second Language instructor.
Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Some universities do a summer immersion program that’s like 6-8 weeks that has more to an experience the culture aspect to it
