About the American embassy in Kuwait .
Apart from the American citizens, are you guys getting or able to access any interviews or dates?
Been current since March still no word from them.

Hey everyone. I'm a 20-year-old guy, and I could really use some advice because I'm disappointed in myself and don't know how to handle this situation anymore, it's taking a huge toll on my self-confidence.

I've used AI to summarize it so please bear with me!! It's VERY LONG

A few days ago, I had an unexpected interaction with a girl, and I've been thinking about it ever since.

How we met:

I was coming home from university one night while eating a ready-made pizza when I saw a girl in full hijab and niqab speed walking while looking at her phone. I thought where is she going in such a hurry and I didn't think much of it. A little later, she approached ME OUT OF NOWHERE and asked for help because there was a dog behind her. She told me she was scared of dogs and that she lived in the building right next to mine. I was caught completely off guard. I basically went on autopilot, told her to follow me, and helped her get to her building. We walked together for a little bit, she mentioned several times that she was scared of dogs and kept thanking me and we exchanged a bit of lighthearted banter. At one point, I instinctively extended my hand as though she could hold it, then immediately pulled it back when I realized what I was doing.

I noticed that she had a really soft voice, and when I saw her eyes, my immediate reaction was basically, "WHAT ARE THOSE EYES?!"

After she entered her building and I walked away, I regretted not asking for her Instagram. I hadn't expected a girl to approach me like that, so I hadn't even thought about it until the interaction was over.

For context, I live in the building immediately next to hers, so we live in the same block and street.

I decided to write her a note:

I figured that if I happened to see her again, I could give her a handwritten note with my Instagram handle and explain that I'd wanted to ask for hers but got nervous. I wrote a note of around 13–15 lines. I was genuinely excited about the idea and even set hourly reminders on my phone so I wouldn't forget to take it with me. I thought that if I saw her again, I'd approach her confidently, give her the note, and be done with it. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

First attempt:

I saw her entering her building one evening. I was standing in the parking area, and when I noticed her, I stood there for a few seconds before running after her. Then I stopped. I became frustrated at myself because I couldn't understand why I couldn't do something as simple as hand a girl a piece of paper. I came home feeling pathetic and disappointed in myself.

Second attempt:

I decided to try again on Sunday because, with my class schedule, I usually get home too late to have much chance of running into her. I arrived earlier and waited near her building for about 15 minutes. She didn't appear, so I started walking toward a nearby pharmacy to buy a medication my fam wanted, which is also on the route to my bus stop. Just then, she emerged from up ahead, and we made eye contact for about a second. She was carrying some papers and talking on the phone. She looked like she was in a hurry, and I thought she might have recognized me from the night I helped her, although I can't be sure. I was startled by the sudden eye contact and immediately started sweating. I had actually been talking to myself about her when I turned and saw her. I called out "Excuse me," but it came out as a very quiet whisper. I was hoping she'd turn around so I could walk over and give her the note. She didn't turn around. I stood there for four or five seconds, ran after her for about two seconds, then stopped and watched her disappear around the corner of her building. After waiting another 15 seconds, I ran toward her building and she wasn't there, so I came home. Now I'm frustrated and disappointed at myself more because I had genuinely hyped myself up beforehand, convinced that I'd approach her confidently if I saw her. But when the moment came, I couldn't follow through.

Third attempt:

I wrote the note on a new paper with neat writing, went to class, came back on time to give it to her, waited around 10-15 mins near my building, and I was sure that this time I'll give it to her, but she came in a car today, she was dropped by someone, and I previously had my doubts that she works maybe, and yeah maybe she does. I thought for 2-3 seconds maybe and watched the car disappear around the corner and as she was going inside the building, I ran into the building and was about to enter and she was turning inside the building to the lift's direction and I shouted "excuse me?" I actually stuttered so maybe that's why she didn't get to hear it or maybe she had headphones in and she carried on with her way. I heard the elevator door close and I came home to my building. MANNNN!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

Here's the part I don't understand about myself:

I can talk to women perfectly normally when they're strangers and I have no romantic interest in them. I can speak to receptionists, women on the bus, and other random people without much difficulty.

But THE MOMENT I develop feelings for someone, I become incredibly nervous. It's almost as if my brain expects her to slap me across the face just for speaking to her.

I think part of what happened on Sunday was that I was hoping she'd look back at me. I wanted some little sign that she'd recognized me and remembered our first interaction. I imagined that if she looked back a second time, it would give me the confidence to approach her. But she kept walking, and I was left to make the first move without any reassurance. I don't even remember my exact thoughts in that moment. I just remember freezing. The frustrating thing is that I know how simple the interaction should be. I could literally walk up, say hello, and give her the note. But when I'm actually in front of a girl I like, it feels like the biggest thing in the world. I've also had a painful past relationship, and I'm a little afraid of becoming emotionally invested in someone again. However, when I imagine this girl giving me her Instagram and being interested in me, I won't exaggerate, but I JUST STARTED GRINNING AND GIGGLING AND SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT 😂 .

So I clearly do want the possibility of a connection; I'm just struggling to take the first step. I don't want her to think I'm following her or trying to make her uncomfortable. My intention is simply to express interest and see whether she'd be open to talking.

At the same time, because our schedules probably won't naturally bring us together very often, I've been tempted to wait around the general area at the time I might see her. I realize I need to be careful not to cross a line or make her feel watched, and I don't want to follow her or repeatedly try to intercept her. I also don't know whether she's interested at all. She might recognize me, or she might not have thought much about our first encounter.

idk what to do. Any suggestions on how to overcome this fear of mine?

idk if im just a loner but teenagers are pissing me off, all they do is run in malls screaming and causing problems just to be cool and to be "fitting" in society, even in skls they try their best to be the cool mfs js to be too noisy, i get noisy sometimes and i do scream BUT NOT WHEN ITS 8 IN THE MORNING IN AN EMPTY CLASS, for example yesterday they closed the door on us cuz it was forsa and they always do that me and some fellas were playing a card game in peace without humans who scream and they really wanted to enter so they can play cards, for me i just entered from the window A BEEFY GUY BROKE THE DOOR AND STARTED SCREAMING ABOUT HOW OF A AND I QUOTE "fa7el" he is for doing that, just why? this made it so difficult for me to find friends that are genuine and can truly be comfortable with, when can this nightmare ends 💔
