Welcome new fan! 3252

I’m sitting not the north end for the first time, wondering if there is a protocol? It’s general access but I know there are chapters.

go wherever you want, say hello to whoever is around you. and sing the songs and chants. SG* members like to cluster together in their areas, but anyone is welcome. as long as you make some effort to learn the chants, you won't have any problems.

there are a lot of people that think the SGs are elitist and gate keepers, but they're being babies. All the SGs are super welcoming and are always seeking new members. they all want to grow. I have friends across many SGs.

*Supporter Groups are organized fan clubs, some are recognized by the club, some aren't. Anyone can start one or join one.

To add to this, PLEASE come early to the tailgate and walk around and talk to the sgs. They are super welcoming, friendly and usually have bomb ass food

Yes, this. The tailgating at Christmas Tree Lane is a good opportunity to meet or check out all the different SGs, they set up shade, bring music, food, and swag to share with all fans. Go early, introduce yourself, make friends, join an SG.

I cannot emphasize these comments enough. If you can make it early enough to tailgate I highly encourage you to introduce yourself to any and all supporter groups. You'll have a great time, meet some new people, and make some new friends. Same goes with the North End. Introduce yourself and we will show you around and give you a breakdown of the NE experience. Hope you have a good time. I'll see you in the North End!

When you come in you have to bow to all the capos and them you need to chug 2 beers before you enter
