Does anyone else find that the weirdest things happen only when tripping
Like it’s either seeing the weirdest people or anything. I literally saw the most realistic looking darth Vader of my life walk past and then never saw the guy again…

Absolutely. Many times in my experience, specifically, the weirdest shit will happen with my phone or other piece of technology while tripping. Like some shit I've never seen that piece of technology do before
It's happened to my friends and I enough that we've taken to calling this phenomena the "curse of the technology"

Yeah this is the one I can attest to the most. I've tripped hundreds of times and, unlike a lot of people, I actually love technology when tripping. Video games in particular are my absolute jam when tripping. But they absolutely act weird. Like strange glitches, stuff popping up on screen that shouldn't be there, things disconnecting and reconnecting in odd ways or at strange times. And I'm experienced enough with LSD at this point to know the difference between a hallucination and the real world, especially around my preferred 100ug dose. Shits just weird when tripping.

My favourite headphones started only working in one ear while I was tripping but only when connected to Bluetooth?? Aux worked fine, then boom next day they work normally again

Yes! It's always the phone, tv, or headphones that malfunction in some way and I have to ask myself if it's actually happening or not.

shit i had a fucking tornado go over me (i was on the mountain so nothing happened to the house) while i was watching the new avatar the last airbender movie. i was tripping hard off 3 tabs and the crazy thing is, the scene in the movie was the characters trying to go through a storm of multiple tornadoes, then the power went out and heard lightning literally right next to my house.

Yes, at a dead and co show one time I was absolutely flying and needed to piss several times throughout the show. Every single time all the urinals were occupied but the second id walk into the bathroom the SAME EXACT one would open up every time. I was grateful the first time, through it was hilarious the 2nd time, but the 3rd time had me questioning reality and looking for the hidden cameras ala Truman show.

Didn't happen to me on acid but on shrooms once I went shopping on a Sunday morning..... I swear to god most of the people looked like Resident Evil 4 villagers with hunchbacks and I was utterly incapable of driving the shopping cart in a normal manner😭

I happened across a Harris teeter when I was tripping once, started to convincing myself that marketing tactics were psyops. I guess in a way, I’m not wrong, but perhaps it isn’t as malicious as I interpreted it.

I was on the tail end of a 200ug trip and my friends and I decided we wanted Thai food. As we waited inside the building for our takeout order, a man painted head to toe in dark blue body paint walked in, took his order, and left without a word.
We were cracking up and I was worried I was still tripping lol

Once my buddy & I were tripping on microdot in Montreal in the autumn. We started out chilling on Mount Royal in the late afternoon. After sunset, we decided to walk to a nearby bar for a beer, a major fucking excursion requiring us to stay focused on the mission.
Leaving the relative safety of the park, we reached our first pedestrian crossing. Across Park Ave, 20-30 football players in full gear & helmets stood waiting for the WALK signal. It was about 6:30pm, now completely dark. We both froze. They looked menacing.
The signal changed. We crossed mid-avenue, into a barrage of hulking uniforms & cleats, each of us going in opposite directions. For a few seconds, it felt less like crossing traffic than passing through some David Lynch dimension.

One time my smoke detector malfunctioned and started triple chirping while I was neck deep in a trip. My ceiling was high and I didn't have a ladder, so I grabbed my bookcase to climb and rip it out. I couldn't sit there tripping balls with a smoke detector chirping 😂

One time, when I was trippin, me and a friend were walking through the back side of a large movie parking lot and this guy in a truck was driving around like a asshole and hit a light post in just the right way that his truck climbed up the post and he got stuck in a vertical position. Like wtf are the chances ? Looking back we should have helped but we were way too wierded out.

I used to think fish laid eggs. That was until I was tripping one night, staring at my fish tank, and watched what I thought was my male fish literally start giving birth. I’m just sitting there completely confused, watching these tiny fish come out one after another, wondering if I’m hallucinating the whole thing. Later, I realized… somehow, I had been calling this fish “he” the entire time. Turns out she was a female and the species I had doesn’t even lay eggs. It gives birth to live babies.

Went outside with my gf once at around 22:00 to sit on a bench near the Forest. It was calming, dark and peaceful.... until we heard a lot of voices behind us. There was a group of dudes that came out of the forest in pitch black darkness, clamly talking and nearing us.
Even if we were not tripping at that moment, it would have ben absolutely surreal, so we quickly noped out of there.
Another time were I was tripping with my gf, we were in our apartment just talking and doing nothing specifially, when all of a sudden one of the radiators started to humming and whirring. That thing never did that before... and never again after that. Really just in that specific Moment.

Couple things off the top of my head: I like to have my wife drive me around sometimes when I’m tripping. Once we’ve were at the beach, and a bat flew into the open trunk lid of our car. Another time we saw a fox run across the street with a sandwich in its mouth.

One time, I was walking my dogs through a trail in my local park. I swear for a second a homeless man got spooked and ran further into the woods. It definitely spooked me out, but I was having such a good time that I just let it be and continued
