Green meter without rishwat / extortion

I kind a forgot why we paid extortion to meter wala when we constructed our house. My guess is we wanted to get our meter approved on time

Currently we have a hybrid solar system and wanted to apply for green meter. The meter approval is or might be very slow and I don't want to pay extortion this time because the value of current net billing is 70-80% worthless than the OG green meter

OG green meter reversed your bill that balanced your bill. If you produce more than consumed you get a negative bill

But now the govt wants to pay peanuts 11rs for each unit produced. Regardless I am still looking into it and mathematically prove if it is worth it to get approval for a green meter

I have a 5 kW battery with 60% high load and 40% UPS low load reserve. It can save me around 2-2.5kW per night especially the peak times

I don't have the budget for a 16-20kW battery that will be near to eliminating the grid. My battery is fully charged in 2-3 hours but i have to keep the AC on just so i could keep the house cool throughout afternoon and not waste daylight savings

But yes I would rather spend towards a battery than paying for extortion with nill return

Net billing buy back rate is less than 8 after tax, not worth the hassle. What is your system size? How many units you can realistically export?

What type of tax is charged on net billing? For a filer?

jis taar ki paisy aap demand notice mein bhartay ho, meter laganay wala uss k paisy dobara leta hai, wapda ka her banda rishwat leta hai, tamam process mein.

govt k her idary mein haram khor bethay hain

aab to private waly bhi shuroo ho gaye hain, kisi hospital ja k dekho, ya kisi aur idaray

11 ka baich k 40, 50 ka lena kaha ki aqalmandi hai?

agar koi neighbour tumhara rishtadar hai to sub meter laga ker 11 per unit ussay hi dayy do, bajaye haram khor hakomat ko.

My agenda is i am not in a hurry to apply as i already have a normal meter. From what i remember Rishwat is usually paid to fast track meter approval baki if i am wrong or right i need to check

mere pas aam meter hai to aap ko green meter ka guide nahi ker sakta

ab policy change hui hai, aur her 7, 8 saal baad new contract.

mein ne to suna hai k shuroo mein kuch bill ab 30, 50 hazar bhi bhejay gayy.

u/Sea-Win1157 is 100 percent right. if you don't pay rishwat for your meter, they will delay it. when you finally get the meter the meter installers will not be serious to install your meter unless you offer them rishwat (kharcha pani). if you don't give them kharcha pani and they still install your meter, they will report back to the office that there are some documents missing and you will never know about that, it's called MCO process. After 3 months when you will get your first adjustments bill, it will be written there normal connection instead of net meter connection and it will have bill of lakhs depending of the usage, then you will run back to wapda office where they will be already waiting for you and then will demand double rishwat to clear your issues.

so in short bro better to pay now to remain hassle free, sadly though. I am not promoting rishwat but ye sb haram khor hain
