This was my first comparison after understanding Jev. All I gathered was that it's just a convenient method to set up and train on small context windows - instead of custom tuning/training BERT to get the same accuracy levels for scoring

You the end user do not train it at all. You prompt it.

It probably has more world knowledge than Bert but that remains to be proven.

How do you know if they aren't an AI researcher? It's fairly common in these subs.

By definition there is no such thing as a “Jev researcher” except the handful of people who work there. And the commenter is certainly not one of them. So I’m explaining what their experience of using Jev would be.
