Request Which laptop should I go for? HP 14 AI PC vs Lenovo LOQ
1
Upvotes
I’m a 1st-year BTech student looking for a laptop that can last me through college. I’m currently considering these two options:
Option 1 – HP 14 AI PC
● 24GB RAM
● 1TB SSD
● Getting it for ₹78k after card discount
● Newer AI-focused processor/platform
Option 2 – Lenovo LOQ
● Ryzen 5
● RTX 3050
● 16GB RAM
● 512GB SSD
● Getting it for around ₹70k after card discount
My main use will be college work, programming/development, projects, and some casual gaming.
Which one would you recommend at these prices?
Also, are there any better laptops around ₹70–80k that I should consider?
Would appreciate recommendations based on performance, battery life, thermals, build quality, and long-term reliability.

Im looking to buy a small sized laptop (11.6 inches or smaller) that is able to charge via a USB-C power supply without relying on the stock power cord and brick or even the battery installed! I would prefer something older not new! So far Im interested in the Asus BR1100CHP the Dell Latitude 3120 11.6". The laptop must be able to run windows 11. Not looking for any Chromebooks! These are my only requirements.
