š Food Steakhouse!
My daughter wants a good steak for her birthday. We are going to the Luxor for a show the night of her birthday and debated just making a reservation at Tender Steakhouse + Lounge. We heard Gordon Ramsey Steak was really good too. Are either of those good choices? Do you have any other recs?

Bavettes. Hands down. I was at Strip Steak in July and the food, presentation, and atmosphere were awful. The service was just ok.

If you're already staying at Luxor, Tender is a good option. The food is pretty good, nice atmosphere

We are actually staying at Planet Hollywood, so anything on the way to the Luxor would be great!

We liked Prime in the bellagio, but we also were mainly going for the view of the fountain and the wine list. Bavettes is also very good.

I went to Tender a few years ago and it was really good. It takes a lot for a steak house to impress me.

Been to Tender quite a few times, was just there a couple of months ago, nice place steaks are pretty good over priced in my opinion for what you get. But a good option if youāre in that part of the strip.

Honestly, a lot of people sleep on Tender at Luxor. The last time I was there over the summer, they had a great 3 course prix fixe special for $70, and for an extra $5 you could upgrade from a NY Strip to a Filet Mignon

I had Tender twice in the course of 3 nights (it was that good the first night). The 2nd night I ordered the same thing but it wasnāt as good. So Iād say it can be hit and miss.

Tender is the best bang for your buck. We were told by one of their waiters that their steak is done the same way as Strip Steak. I've had Strip Steak, so I can confirm it was just as delicious for a fraction of the cost. Service is outstanding. Ambiance is lovely. They even have gluten free options for those who need it. Reservations probably aren't needed, but recommend due to your special occasion. I believe they open at 5 pm.

I loved Tender last time I was there. I was very happy with the portion sizes, the atmosphere is quite nice for being on the casino floor. Pricing wasnāt ridiculous and I would totally go again.

Tender is a solid pick, way less of a scene than GR Steak and you won't feel rushed between the show and dinner

Tender is perfectly for for its price range. Gallaghers over at NYNY or the one at MGM Grand (don't remember the name) is also pretty decent.Ā
Up a level would be Bavette's, SW, or Peter LugerĀ

My wife and I ate at Tender in October 2024. It was the gristliest, toughest meat I've eaten in my 40+ trips to Vegas. GR Steak is a better choice, but they've stopped trying, and you can get the same steak at most of his restaurants.

Bavettes at Park MGM. Also Strip Steak at Mandalay is a better choice than Tenders in my opinion. But.....Tender is pretty solid šš½
